and even the specials are usually too expensive compared to HLJ.

how about this, have you ever try to talk to your local hobby shop and see if they could special order kits for you? like when they do their import?
cause that what i did a while back, i meet a guy on ebay, i bought from him couple time, then all the sudden i got this idea, since i know what i want, and no time to bid those auction or even don't want to waste too much time searching for it. so i send him a email ask him how about not put his auction just sell to me directly, that way he don't need to pay ebay listing fee, and transaction fee. best of all no need to wait couple day and sometime don't even sell.
so if you do the same thing and ask the hobby shop owner, might be he willing to do the same. since you also know what you want, so they could import the one you ask for instead of import something else that doesn't sell

i tried but that wont work, too. bandai wont ship to sellers outside of japan (or at least not to sellers in europe), so the guy would have to import them from america. in the end it would be more expensive than HLJ, too :P

See when people can paint their GunPla kits like this, I get so jealous... Maybe this guy can do the Byaku Shiki custom color scheme?

>_<

But then again, I'm pretty much a newb to GunPla, yet I still have a MG Exia Ignition Mode, MG 00 Qan[T], and MG 00 Raiser ready to be built... Yea. I haven't started them...LOL

** EDIT **

the pack has been sold ONLY with that magazine but it is long out of stock. they sold it in january or so, i dont quite remember.
you can still get it on ebay though, for around $24 plus shipping:

the original is pretty rare now and mostly very expensive.

Right now, you can buy green LED's for the Master Grade Gundam 00 kits. The red ones... I don't think so. =) Maybe Bandai will start selling the red ones now.

kakakka 2011-08-08 09:53

Trans-Am Raiser in the show used the green ones. This red LED... LOL People still need to buy the green LED

They might be doing it to make it special...

OR

(Most like) To do what they did with MG Exia Trans-Am Ignition Mode where they included a red LED light?

Watch that...

there is no ignition mode trans-am exia. its just the regular MG exia in trans-am colors with a red LED! it doesnt come with chrome-plated parts like the ignition mode version.

and if bandai releases this as a limited version only and wont sell it at other places in the future im pretty sure that they wont give us any more red LEDs.
