Following another entry of Shonen Sunday adaptations this season comes with RIN-NE. Basically, it's like Inu Yasha, the most interesting change is the fact that the author doesn't repeat her usual salad of clichéd main characters' inane interactions this time, making Rinne and Sakura felt like sympathetic that doesn't argue against each other like brats in contrast to most of her previous works. Production values aren't anything special and the musical score isn't very original, though at the very least, it was enjoyable. The beginning seemed so far promising, I'll give credits for that.

I loved it!!!! I bet nostalgia is making me a bit biased though (I followed this manga for a while after Inuyasha ended) but I found this ep to be a really well done introduction to the story.

I also loved the character design (Rinne <3) and art direction in general. Nothing outstanding but still really pretty. OP song was also great.

The manga felt too slow to me and I think that's the reason why I eventually dropped it but with all the manga stock available and the fact that this will be only 2 cours long I'm quite positive this could end up into a really good anime. Hopefully.
