Is it ok if I talk about/post news concerning the new Robot Damashii line?

Sweet, well, to be honest. I'm not sure on what to think of this new line. I don't like change all that much, and that's what Robot Damashii is all about. Bandai claims it's not a replacement for MSIA, yet, there hasn't been a new MSIA figure since Gundam Nadleeh.

i hoping bandai will release 1/100 Bushido's Ahead. But i have speculation that they will pulling a HG Tallgeese III on the Ahead by making 1/100 Ahead that include the conversion parts to make Sakigake and Smultron, so we need to buy 3 1/100 Ahead to display all the version maybe. IMO

Spoiler for the secret:

I don't think so....doesn't really seem like a Gundam trend.

they should just tell us already I mean its completely obvious. All the reviews ive seen on the HG 1/144 ver detaches the backpack and shows legs under the thrusters along with a few pics from awhile back. Its another gundam or something similar to gn archer. have we seen a pic of the box for the hcm pro version
|
Odds are you've seen it, but here's a picture of what I view as the most realistic and accurate one so far. I'd prefer/think a head will also pop out of the larger head but that's just me.
Also, my apologies for blogwhoring, but I'm doing a review-as-I-go of the Sinanju at my blog if anyone is interested. |
hi guys, i'm kinda new to painting gundams. i recently bought some tamiya enamel paint and an enamel thinner. if for example i want to paint the wingspan of the Destiny 1/100 gundam, what kind of ratio should i use to mix the paint and the thinner? if you guys can provide some additional tips for hand brushing gundams, that would be much appreciated! :):):)

Nice one Miyamoto Shin, look great. It seem you use metallic paint, look so shiny.:D
Deserve a cookies. Now I wish my hand were steady enough to paint a kit.:heh: |
great job done Miyamoto Shin!!!! i like yr metallic paint!!!
|
Where did you get the ZAFT decals?

Anyway...That metallic paint makes that Legend looks less Plain isn't it??...Legend got one hell of bring color I'd say (Even though it's my favorite from GSD), so that metallic paint to lighten it up...:).. but to tell you the truth, I now think that Metallic color like that isn't that great....makes me wants to re-paint it all...but that'll be costly and tiresome, so I guess I won't... |

@Miyamoto Shin
Nice! I really like the metallic finish you chose there... Legend is one of the few Gundams that can pull that off really well. |

Very nice Legend. I hope my Gundams will come out nearly as nice when I get around to painting them (have to wait until I have the other one that's to have the same scheme in hand...)
Seam lines are a pain in the rear, though the ones on Gundam kits at least seem to be in manageable positions (and the fit is nice and tight on mine, which helps a lot to make them invisible). I've built regular model kits with big, ugly and very inappropriate seam lines that were nearly impossible to fix, that were supposed to be colors where any flaw stood out like a beacon. In comparison, Gunpla is a vacation... (In fact, the Exia really is a break for me - I'm building a small armada of modern warships with some of them having upwards of three hundred tiny pieces to paint and glue, and photoetched railings and antennas and aaaaaaaargh....) Here's an idea - I've been studying my Exia and the photos of the HG 00 on Dalong in anticipation of my next purchase, and I'm wondering if the 00 arms could fit on the Exia... after all, if one is good, and two is better, then three must be...? (come on, someone must have done this for a laugh already!) I won't be able to test this for at least two weeks (one week for HLJ's holiday vacation to end + however long it takes them to get my stuff from Bandai since they're not released yet/out of stock + a week for delivery = WTB timeskip...) |
The HG Exia's arms are attached to the body via a peg though, while the 00's are inserted with a ball joint. Hence, the arms are incompatible. Also, if you're talking about the GN Drive... the drives are attached to the back, not the arms.

More speculation on T.V.'s part actually, though it's one of the more likely explanations.

If you do paint with a brush, i find that doing 2 coats works best but do one coat in a horizontal stroke then the next coat in a vertical stroke to lessen the visible brush lines when it drys. |

Really pretty Trans-Am. The clear look suits it well

thx for the advice vektor (shouldnt of bought the thinner ><), i'll be handbrushing my gundams, i'll also be using enamel paint because from what i've heard it has a better effect than acrylic. just wondering is it necessary to apply more than 1 coat and in what situations should i use gloss paint over flat paint?

That thing is screaming for built-in lighting :O
