That was roughly around when the 2nd season of Haruhi was officially announced (7/7/07), but probably not by far. I'm actually a little muddy as to whether this scan came before or after. Some of the text implied that this came shortly after.

oh yeah, that was it! shortly after 07.07.07! how come i didnt remember straight away... could deduced it even. but anyway, it was definitely after the announcement of the coming haruhi, why else would konata be so happy:D

Anyway, does the "trailer" actually confirms that Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody will be in the second season?

we dont know, there's no way to be sure at the moment. im GUESSING though that the second season will have the same format as the first, with disappearance as the main story and with other random chapters chucked in. this is purely a guess though, so dont take too much from it.

So apparently the OVA is already up for pre-order and has been described as 30 minutes with a Lucky Channel Radio Drama segment included. Screams cash in more and more with each new piece of news. You'd think they'd be doing a little more to make it sound fresh and exciting, but this is Kadokawa so who knows what they are thinking with this angle.

Actually, just kidding. I already saw the release date in another blog. Kadokawa knows very well the fans will swarm in on their own.

It's not really a matter of skepticism though. That's more of a scientific term. More like a casual observer versus die hard fan.

Can anyone help me here since I've neither any L*S DVDs or heard any so far to tell, but rather rely on quiirky Wiki let me get it straight from the fans' mouths; How are L*S "Drama DVDs" and "radio play" and boxed DVD editions different in content from the series or an OVA? Are they basically the same and are they manga-derived or original works or mostly souped-up re-hashed episodes?

I would think that since they're taken from the same source, both would have different viewpoints of the same material.

Majorly excited for this. I loved the Anime Tenchou bits in the show, so this OVA markets directly to my tastes.

Hopefully there'll be some good old Lucky Channel in it too.
