Casval, what happened to the red parts on the shoulders of your RG Freedom? Did you colored it using marker? They look unfinished. Or is it just the light effect from your photo?

Yes, I'm well aware that the left one is the RG. I mean, look at the red shoulder parts of that RG carefully. That looks unfinished.

So is this what these "HD" re-releases of the Seed HG kits are for? The same kits, some new colors on the parts, and effect parts?

If they're going to do Seed/Seed Destiny again, I'd rather them do a 1.5 or a 2.0 for MG kits so they fix things like kits without pegs on the hand and stupid things like how the beam rifle used a blue sticker and not a blue piece.

and who knows, maybe they will give us more seed MGs. 1.5 and 2.0 stuff is overrated in my opinion by the way... the seed MGs are good the way they are.

I completly agree. My Strike(s) and my Freedom can hold their weapons perfectly fine. While I would love the see a 2.0 of the Strike, it's still good by today's standards IMO. What really deserves a 2.0 is the GP-series and the Gundam ZZ. SEED kits are still to new for that kind of treatment.

the 2.0 treatment should be reserved for old models that couldnt take advantages from bandais new technology yet or for models that simply suck :P as you said, the GP series and the ZZ are good candidates for that.

one thing im curious about though is whether bandai will ever introduce a 3.0 line^^

they probably got lazy and molded it in one piece...

Not lazy, the original HG Aile Strike vfin is molded in yellow (2002 gunpla tech) and this Renewal is basically a repackaging. Same for the other straight build mobile suit photos in the poster. One would wonder if Bandai is really backing this.

thats what i said a few pages ago! XD its really kinda sad, i like the ginn but it just explodes... but it doesnt really matter since we cant get those effect parts, anyway.
