Way I see the PG line is it's abit like an "exclusive line", something to treat yourself with if you ever get the money to get one. And your 3rd reason is not an issue cause that's just even more so obvious than the 1st, given that the 1st reason is most likely the biggest reason PGs don't sell as much as other lines. But I don't think one can make the mistake of thinking PGs aren't wanted, cause I would like to think everyone would like to have them given the chance. |
Like it's said above me, the PG line is more of a "deluxe" line than anything else, it's when you want a really, really nice model.
As the happy owner of a PG Aile Strike and a PG Strike Freedom, I can tell these models surclass their MG counterparts in every way. The only downside is the space these kit takes, particularly the Strike Freedom with its wings fully deployed. |
Yeah at this point the only one that is really debated is Wing G Zero Custom.
Some will say the PG is better and others will say the MG (OO Raiser gets some flack, but not nearly as much as Zero), outside of him though if you love these suits and want the ultimate form of them then the PG is the only way to go. |
Awesome G-Bouncer you got there firefox! All that panel lining you did on it almost makes me want to go out and grab one right now. :D

Because the suit is entirely white it really needs the pannelining to look good, the black pannelining contrast with the white overall color is great. Also i painted some area's like underneath the shield, bottom of the feet, lower torso and the backpack truster inlets grey to break the overall white a bit. Quite happy with the result. Next model will be a UC fanboy favored 1/100 MG. That's gonna take a while... |

Took some not so good pictures with a 2004 camera at yesterday's convention, sorry about the quality.
Dynamic tag cannot be rendered. (PrintableThread) Wish I had taken more pictures, there really was a lot there. We even had an area where people can build. There was a large Rx-78-2 statue that I took a picture with, but for the life of me I can't find it. |

Don't you want to reduce the size a bit so that us viewers can get a better grasp of your fotos? ;) Speaking of your fotos, that Titus custom paint is nice. It's even better than the original color-scheme imo. Btw, exactly how many people ordered that Asuna dakimakura? :p |
I can't believe I linked the wrong photo. :twitch:
Err, since I don't quite know how to make thumb-nails...opening them in another tab scales them down to just what the browser can display. |
So looks like we'll get an Age-1 Flat with parts for Grandsa and Zefuld together..maybe?

A MG is likely now. I was waiting to see if they would use the Zefuld Launcher again. It looks like it was, and I suspect the last few episodes will have the Age-1 Flat using it. If it does come out, I'm gonna be very happy to add it to my MG Age collection. =P I'm even more excited for the Darkhound MG now, and I can't wait for Bandai to get the rest out in MG. |

Maybe an SD set with Age-1 Flat (all wears) and then another with Darkhound and Special Ops? Anyway~ I would hope Bandai would give us the MG of this guy. It would make sense since it is a lead.. Age-FX --> likely Age-1 Flat (Grandsa with Zefuld pack) --> hoping Darkhound --> confirmed |
Hate to admit this but, I'd love to see Age-1 Grandsa with Zefuld pack in MG form.
Anyway, among all the wishlist of nike, Age-1 Flat Normal is the most stupid. At least Age-2 Normal Special Ops is all white. :) |
I still can't help but shake the feeling that Bandai may cut the AGE line short for the Master Grade, they're even doing that with the High Grade line (Kronos and Fawn Farsia both seem like obvious kits to make, but still no sign). They were all set to milk AGE to the max, but it not doing well makes me think we'll get the important Gundam's (FX and maybe AGE-3 Normal) and the fan favourite forms (like Dark Hound) and they'll call it a day.
I seriously hope I'm wrong, because AGE has some great designs, but I won't hold my breath for Double Bullet, AGE-1 Grandsa, and the two AGE-3 forms. |

Wing Seed Unicorn (and older UC like the MG V Gundam ver. Ka) Age That's 4 series with only the Age series being the most current. It's no surprise that we're not seeing more HG's. The Age MG kits are basically highly detailed HG kits in a 1/100 scale, not quite as detailed and complicated as the 00 MG's.. So basically, what I currently think we'll see w/ MG kits from Age.. Darkhound --> confirmed Special Ops --> online exclusive Double Bullet Age-3 Normal Obital Fortress FX Age-1 Flat Grandsa w/ Zefuld Launcher). So in the end we will have: Age-1 Normal Age-1 Titus Age-1 Sparrow Age-1 Grandsa Age-2 Normal Age-2 Darkhound Age-2 Double Bullet Age-2 Special Ops Age-3 Normal Age-3 Orbital Age-3 Fortress Age-FX So from each of the 3 pilots, we get 4 MG's... all being variations of each other w/ Age-FX being totally a new one. Makes sense? * Red = released or confirmed |
does anyone here own a mg sandrock. I just want to know if this kit needs a lot of shelf space for using dynamic poses
