Ji-Aion (G-Ion)

And I bet it was for Raraiya

Patriot's Blade 2014-11-25 05:28

G-Ion? well considering the naming theme of the Reguild Gundams so far, i sort of get it now

ZeroXSEED 2014-11-25 08:17

Depending on how you read it it could also be interpreted as G-Aeon, which would fit the philosophical/theology/religious theme of the G series so far. (Self, Arcane etc)

Point is we have yet to receive the proper romanization so it could be anything.

The Mega Shiki doesn't look that bad... I'd say it's more of a fault of the mobile suit's design, than Bandai's plastic colouring (like the Rozen Zulu). It also comes with two Masurao-esque katana-shaped beams as seen in the show, which is awesome.

Is it using a new mold entirely, or is Bandai reusing that ancient HGUC Hyaku Shiki mold? I can't tell.

Wild Goose 2014-11-26 21:39

So the Mega Bazooka Launcher has been intergrated as part of a backpack? Interesting.

I just might have to get the mega-shiki afterall.

Also thinking of painting my Banshee in metallic blue paint. What would you guys suggest to be the best way to go about doing that? Brush or marker?

Put marker on dish, brush them out

Looks like a Mega-Rider.
Mounts like a Preschool Trike.

I'd have to agree. I much prefer if Shiki smashed its fist into the mega launcher to be a Tenjyou Tenge Mousou Bu---

*vaporized*

BassGSnewtype 2014-11-27 01:51

Or used it like the SRX's Buster Cannon with the R-Gun Powered

ZeroXSEED 2014-11-27 02:47

Obviously you use them with 1/400 gunpla

wavehawk 2014-11-27 03:21

What I expected:

What we're actually getting:

The Megaridelauncher is not Mega, it's not ridable, and the only launching here will be me tossing it at the drunk next door.

It looks good with the Jegan wielding it like a cannon, but as a rider... Nope. Too bad they had to shrink it down to size to fit onto the Mega Shiki's back.

Obelisk ze Tormentor 2014-11-27 04:38

Well guys, it's not the real Mega Rider from Gundam ZZ so you shouldn't expect it to be exactly like the real thing, especially after you saw it connected to the Mega-Shiki's back. Let's enjoy the version that we have, and pray for the actual Mega-Rider to be released in the future.

StratoSpear 2014-11-27 07:13

They.... actually managed to shrink the size of something.... and did NOTHING to shrink the limbs of Miss Sazabi. What sorcery?

Money, son

It was entirely separate mold, Miss Sazabi on the other hand reuse the mold for extra profit.

Well Im not self-deluded enough for the first image though......

Laevatein 2014-11-30 02:13

Not really Gunpla, but you can bet someone will combine Gunpla with this.

In fact, a particular person in my modelling group comes to mind...

wavehawk 2014-11-30 02:31

Not gunpla, but someone in my group has advised he's going to use those Pony kits as parts for his Zoids.

...which, in retrospect, actually makes sense...
