Isn't it abit too early to judge based on a few preview images? The reason for the lack of a waist joint for the 00 was for the future addition of the 0 Raiser, which made the 00 top heavy - something that the other gundams certainly doesn't have. The only reason I can think for omitting the waist joint for Arios (a tenous one at that) would be because of the MA form Arios has.

Wait for the early previews for the kit. If Arios, or future HG 1/100 gundams inherits the same trait as the 00 the news will spread quickly.

i'm first thinking they only do that to 00 for the stability on 1/100 00 Raiser, this is okay for me since 00 have a high possiblity will be released as MG in the future. but if Cherudim and Arios also get the non waist joint treatment then Bandai went too far.... but for what reason the make this downgrade? since the other gundams than 00 and exia having little chance to be MG'ed

I don't understand, lack of waist rotation will solve 00 Raiser's top heavy? And is it really top heavy? (I don't have the kit)

i have 1/100 00 raiser, yes it's heavy. but having waist rotation isn't a problem at all since i modded the waist. I'm just don't like it if bandai pulling the same thing on the other gundams. it's just act of lazyness for me.

let us wait for the release of 1/100 cherudim before we make any judgement?

Actually from my point of view there're not much different in price from HGseed to HG00. And the comparison is a little bit unfair since seed+destiny have ton of kits compare to 00 (it's two series after all). And some of the HGUC definitely can't be compare to 00 or seed/destiny HG since their detail sometime exceeed even their MG counter part.

That's true, but 3/4 of those SeeD Mech alwasy had something on their backs thanks to Okawa's fetish, which attribute to more parts. That add up to more production cost.

OO's mecha design had always been very basic and nothing fancy. There's no wings or huge weapons which cuts down on the amount of plastic needed.

HGUC range from 1000-2800. RX-78GP03 Gundam GP03 Dendrobium cost you 28000 and MRX-009 Psyco Gundam cost you 5000 RX-121-2A Gundam TR-1 Advanced Hazel’ cost you 3360

Gundam 00 Range from 1000-1600

Gundam seed+Destiny range 1000-1600

As all the people above mention it. unless the difference is like between 700 to 1500. I would't call it much cheaper. HGUC really have great detail. Take example of HGUC Nu gundam or Sazabi

Then again, the HGUC is targetted at long time Gundam fans, many of which that are working adults that draws their own salaries.Which differes from the OO HG line, of which is aiming for the Middle to High School crowds that works part time and does not have that much of disposable income.
