Yeah, the product details on the Tamashii Nation website says the transformation has been omitted. Keep in mind, it was from a google translate, but I saw the word "omitted" mixed in with "transformation". So it's not looking good.

I mean, one way or the other, I don't mind it. I'm just happy that Aegis is finally getting a proper action figure, it's been way over due. But I did like its MA mode as well. I thought that the figure making process (especially with Robot Damashii figures) was advanced enough to implement a transformation stable enough to go well with the figure. I guess Bandai didn't wanna risk it.

looks like RD ZZ is unable to transform into G Fortress also :eyebrow:

I'm still cool even if RD ZZ can't transfom. If the transformation would coz the MS to have terrible articulation and flimsy, I'd rather don't get it.

Btw, HG ZZ & RD ZZ really remind me that the old MG really needs a ver. 2.0.
Sadly, we won't get it until (someday) they remaster the series for Blu-ray or make trilogy-movie out of it.

personally i have the hguc revise ver so is alright for RD not to transform. If transform is a great gimmick but then RD is all about articulation (which is why is a figurine)

This is me pretty much.

Even more so on the 2.0. At this point it's probably one of the single mots in need of it. Given it's place as one of the original three series leads as well as just how the current MG is, which was worse then Nu and even it's gotten it's 2.0.

I think it will come one day, I'm happy that they aren't overaloading 2.0's but now that Nu has it I can't see anything other then Alex that would get it before ZZ.

I would say RG with revise frame is more possible than ver 2.0 right now for ZZ

Given how the HGUC turned out and the RD I would be okay with this.

They have really seemed to nail ZZ's power and feel in the 144th line so having another even at that scale would be something I would welcome at this point.

So no one likes my reviews enough to comment or likes my GunPla collection (that I've shown in public)? :( :frustrated:

Showing off your " Gunpla " Collection isn't really something people comments on, unless you've done a few kitbashes or scratchbuilds that look really well

Reviews arent really something people comment on either, unless it's for a resin-kit/scratchbuild/kitbash.

Oh, not to mention Dalong pretty much is the #1 source for reviews since well, he pretty much owns everything gunpla related. Oh, and he gives the models a nice rating system too.

Not to sound mean or anything, but your reviews arent anything special, neither is the constant reposting of your MG wishlist(s). Stop reposting those and you might get some positive feedback.

Not to worry, my tongue was firmly in my cheek. I like Super Robots, but not so much that I'd actually expect such a functionality.

Back on topic, this Freedom was in half-painted bits in a box for over a year, until I salvaged it earlier this month.

Since I have too many Gunpla for my small shelf space, I put some away and semi-organised the rest into something like a display, the content of which I shall rotate depending on what I finish painting next.

Actually, it is the PG 00 Raiser straight out of the box.

Only the decals were applied with some panel lining too ;)

Fun fact: I'd literally lost the mouthplate right up until I started assembly, it being such a tiny part. When I found it again it was still its usual white, so I couldn't be arsed to paint it red like the rest of the white parts.
I'll definitely consider going over the railguns, though. The little grey bits on the torso are fine but big areas like the railguns, maybe not. Cheers for the feedback!

And so I decided to put alot of the kits I want on hold......saving money.....this hobby demands so much cool kits to be collected....and the college students are the ones who feels this the most.....being short on cash.....

BTW are the yellow beams of the HGUC Marasai compatible with other HGUC beams and Vagan hands? (the beams seem to be different)

I used the yellow beam of the Beginning Gundam.

Regarding the HGUC Marasai, I don't know :(

Has anyone ordered for replacement parts from GG Infinite?

DarkWarrior 2012-10-05 20:28

GGInfinite doesn't have a replacement parts service anymore. I heard good things about Gentei Kits, but haven't personally tried it yet.

Ikaoru 2012-10-05 23:22

So do I get a refund or something?

Znozzy 2012-10-06 03:18

refund for what? did you get a broken kit?

Ikaoru 2012-10-06 11:06

Nope... I ordered some parts and I have the invoice number.

Last time they emailed to me (August 14) that they're still processing since they're doing all the replacement parts order BEFORE August. Here's what they told me

Quote:

Hi xxx,

The orders #00575 and #00586 are July order and order #00549 is June order. At this time, we still have not receive any June orders from the manufacturer due to their extreme delays recently. Over the past few months, the manufacturer really affected our decision in stopping the replacement parts services because they either missed our orders or take them months to get here. At this time, we will continue to contact them and try our best to get all the parts we have ordered. Once we receive them, we will ship it to you as soon as possible. Sorry for this long delay and any inconveniences.

Team GG

Getting replacement parts is a massive pain in the butt for people outside of Japan. You will just have to wait :T

Znozzy 2012-10-06 12:21

Yeah, replacement parts can take months to actually arrive. And are usually really expensive too :(

DarkWarrior 2012-10-06 14:37

If it helps, my replacement parts from GGInfinite took around 4 months. And they couldn't acquire half of my order anyways due to availability issues.. but yeah, it's a long wait.

Ikaoru 2012-10-06 19:39

Thanks for assurance. I'll wait for 2 more months before asking for a rebate

suiton629 2012-10-06 21:13

I actually spoke with GG about this directly.
Apparently there is some issues with the replacement part service he was offering and December 2012 is when he expect to begin offering it again.

Don't worry. GG Infinite is a a good & honest company/business. They're not gonna run off and steal your money without fulfilling orders.

Se7en Sabers 2012-10-07 02:53

Nicely done :)

Even if the Impulse is an "old" kit, I think it's still modern and slim.

The color scheme of the Sword is really nice too :p

Too bad there isn't a lot of white-red Gundam

There’s a lot actually:
RX-78-5, Reborns Gundam, Beginning J Gundam, Heavyarms, Unicorn, Air Master, 00 Gundam 7-Sword inspection, Extreme Gundam Type Leos, Rising Gundam, etc.

Take your pick ;).

@Duotiga
Ahh, staring at your Impulse really brings back the old times of MG SEED Destiny’s glorious days.....ok, I kid, I kid. It’s not that long time ago :p. What can I say? It's looking good, but the hands surely look big in those photos.

Btw, if you have a lot of base-stands, aren’t you interested in posing all the Impulse’s silhouettes launching together? I'd definitely try to do that if only I have just the right amount of stuffs. :D

RAVNEN 2012-10-07 04:58

Finally done with a MG Strike E IWSP that i've been want for so long..i must say it's a great kit,lot of accessories & fun to build. Next gonna build HG Age Dark Hound & HG Ghiraga..:D

The AGE-3 orbital is a nice red-one too :

Me, I'm torn between the clear one and the sparkle green :(

Just to inform you (based on my personal experience), the clear Action Base 1 is easier to crack than the usual color such as black. As for the sparkle green, I don't know coz I never own it.
