I don't think Bandai will take a risk to going back to zero like redoing the whole HG line of Seed, that will become a distraction for them to release HG models that never existed yet. I believe they only focused on Strike only which is the true icon of the whole Seed line, Bandai did released a newer HG RX-78-2 but they didn't even bother on making a newer HG Guntank or HG Guncannon.

Again. We never know what they do and how they go about actually deciding what they want to put out or are working on.

It is a little strange. It's really hard to figure out bandai's strategy, when they seem to be very random with product releases... At least the last couple of months. Gundam Buildfighers has the ability, to allow more kits of every type, but the show doesn't seem to have the same appeal as other series...

I think the main focus of Robot Damashii is the posability and more anime like proportions rather than transformation which will sacrifice the posability and range of motion.

Oh and I just spied a rumor picture... Something about a MG Akatsuki. Again it's nothing but rumor, a damn good one if it happens, but still just a rumor.

Seeing as the big gundam expo is happening later this month I dont think Bandai would have let anything slip out early. They want maximum shock factor for that show.

Anyway, its for FEBRUARY release. Its barely November yet. There's a LOT of time for Bandai to show some more images of it. They probably barely got started with that kit (which is fine, because its just remolding parts around the new frame).

Also, I get the feeling that its just a bit too much coincidence that they happened to announce MG X Gundam just as we have a major character using it in GBF. I get the feeling that depending on GBF and MG X's popularity, we may see a Gundam X Maou somewhere down the line, even if its a P-Online exclusive.

I never said I hated it per say. I just said that I didn't really have much of an interest nor do I have high hopes.

I'm watching the episodes on a weekly basis.

I just think the designs are okay, and the show is decent but very cliche, and too overtly advertising HGs to kids. Age kinda did it, but they didn't make it so obvious.

And that happens to be one of the reasons that this show is doing so much better than AGE (at only 5 episodes in too at that)

Its blatantly honest about what it wants to do (sell model kits, particularly to kids), while appealing to the whole spectrum of gundam fans



After EP 5 Fenice and Maou are on my list for kits to get, whether in HG or MG, they're really growing on me

I loved Gundam Wing Zero but not Wing Gundam. Though I changed my opinion after watching Build Fighters and actually love Wing Gundam now. So the series is doing well in terms of advertising model kits.

Wing Fenice was animated soo well in todays episode.

Ah~ Even though I haven't seen the original Gundam, I have seen and aware of the crap animation such as this. You know, I think a big reason why I can't get into UC is because of the original/older ones having such bad animation. If they animated Gundam Origins, I might be inclined to watch that.

Would be a waist of good plastic as for akatsuki there is a terrific 1/100 hg kit available (which coinsidely still is liying in my closset after 4 years for me to finaly build it, lol).

Probaly gonna be as yellow as Shiki with no gold if it would happen.

It's not the graffics that make a good series. The original gundam series is just not a good story by todays standards, nor is zeta. The side shows like stardust and 8th are the real gems of UC.

Realize this. But it is a huge con and makes it less motivating especially with me starting Gundam with Gundam Wing and G Gundam, and then really getting into it more with Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny, Gundam 00, Gundam Age, and now casually with Gundam Build Fighter.

Dude, even if you grew up on Wing or any AU Gundam, that won't stop you to appreciate the older or UC Gundam series, I also grew up with Wing, G and X but that won't stop me to enjoy or appreciate more on UC Gundam series and make me realize how total ripoff is the Wing, X and more especially the Seed or Seed Destiny.

It sort of a semi-MG since the design is based from MG Strike and it was also designed to be compatible with the MG Strike packs(Aile, IWSP, Sword, Launcher, and even the new Ootori)

I guess you have some points there. But I just can't really enjoy much of UC. I mean I did see 08th MS Team and Miller's Report and thought it was pretty cool. If they ever 2.0 the Ground and EZ-8 MGs, I might get them since they're unique.

Regardless you can't deny that Wing, 00, Seed, Destiny, Age, X, G... They have an amazing cast of Gundams and the stories are memorable, and they have all those epic moments.

No, otherwise bandai can't sell divider seperately or as an exclusive.

The announcement is already final isn't it? Only normal X will release, the date, the price, it's already announced, no words yet for X Divider.

The Exia is a different story since both the normal Exia and the Ignition mode was announced simultaneously and both of them released in the same month.

No way. Stardust and 8th MS team are just short melodramas.
Crappy in comparison to the overreaching plot lines found throughout 0079 and Zeta.
Zeta is still considered the pinnacle of gundam story telling.

Mid action stills are always horrible even in the newest of animation. Seed, 00 and Age were filled with horrible stills of disproportioned bodies and limbs that dont make sense.
I've noticed some bad Build strike stills too. But Fenice moved so little in its appearance that the animators took the opportunity to fill in all its detail.
