Wow, Tak, you kept all your boxes?! I had to flatten mine and keep them in the closet to save space. The only non-flatten boxes are my 1st ed Destiny, SF, IJ and Legend. And I should start getting some MGs next time I go back to HK.

Cheap MG ey? How cheap?...and where do you live? I hate paying for postage cos by the time i import a kit over to Australia, the postage costs actaully exceeds the overseas savings...

Oh yeh, with those Amazon sales, weren't they for US residents only?

Saviour Boxart pose almost the same as OP pose

Some time ago I also went on a model buying spree.. bought models much faster than I could build them. My backlog is huge now, and I don't think I'll ever finish all of them. Some of them I don't want to touch at all, since I bought it on impulse and lost interest since then. Oh, what to do... :heh:

Tak 2006-10-11 19:37

Yes, I have an addiction problem. I wonder if there are counciling courses set up for people with model kits addictions...

Imagine I'd walk into a session for the first time...

Now, I can complete the Strike Freedom collection properly. Why? It will be really really hilarious seeing the SF evolve through all these different sized, different looking models grow into this awesome MG version. Almost as if the 1/60 Lightning edition got shrunk and detailed up :heh:

Bandai!! It's so good to be alive :heh: :uhoh: :heh:

I still can't believe how this ugly.... thing.... can be more popular than Zeta or Freedom. .

But let's talk about something else - didn't some Bandai engineer say in a recent interview that they were looking towards "neglected" series for MG's, such as X? I would kill for a MG Gundam X.

P.S. the webpage has some high-quality pics so it may take a while to fully load.

It looks real nice and I love how the modeller himselfs tells us that it wasn't even modelled that great, but what's important is that yourself are satisfied=D

duotiga 2006-10-12 07:41

ok i;m freak out on these 2 models already....

Does this mean there gonna be Savior 1:100? I really want this after Infinite Justice:D

kct 2006-10-12 12:17

It's already been announced some time ago.

SNT1 2006-10-12 12:40

this 2nd half of the year I think the MGs of F91, Xbone and eventually S-F are the only reall good kits out. GoldFrame and GM[G] sniper are ok. everything else is crap.

Meehlimo 2006-10-12 16:45

It would be kinda annoying if the Special Option parts merely allowed you to convert Strike Freedom back into the normal stock Freedom again v_v;...

Rofl at the Wing Zero stand.. they're reusing it yet again? Anyways, Strike IWSP looks pretty sharp. Too bad I can't stand the Strike design anymore. They've recycled it way too many times for my tastes.

i find the original strike design very appealing, still has that spark ;]

Siege 2006-10-13 23:29

I'd like to see some new PG grade kits from the SEED generation

have just purchased PG STRIKE and PG IMPULSE

I'm also looking into both Freedom versions

DarkWarrior 2006-10-13 23:37

There's no PG Impulse or PG Freedom.. although there is a PG Strike. What you're probably talking about is the 1/60 scale real detail models. They're comparable to HGs in terms of quality, but definitely nowhere near the PG level. PGs are the ones that costs over a hundreds dollars, if not more.

I beg to differ. Have you see the awesomeness of the HGUC Powered GM? It has details rivalling that of an MG model. And when that starts to happen, Bandai had better rethink their MG line.

ah. Of course, I totally forgot the Hazel/PGM/GP02A goodness that the HGUC had lately.

But I stopped collecting 1:144s for awhile now...

Anyways, bringing that into perspective, then its not so bad for the 2nd half after all, maybe just because the Saviour, IWSP, and Stargazer kits are making so much noise right now that I forgot about the HGUCs.

M_Flores 2006-10-14 04:16

what was that bandai MG catalogue site again?
