suiton629 2012-03-02 14:07

Appel 2012-03-02 14:14

Damn it...lol

I hope we get a MG Wing Zero Custom ver. 2.0 later after the Wing Zero (TV) comes out in MG.

That I would get...all 3 of them. =)

Til then...

MG 00 > MG Age > MG Wing

wing zero still doesnt need a version 2.0. it is good enough as it is!
in fact the frame is so good they decided to re-release the wing gundam ver.ka with almost the exact same frame last year!
sure, the hands kinda suck but there are ways to work around that issue.

duotiga 2012-03-02 20:35

Wing kit doesn't need a ver 2 treatment . The frame itself is good enough

suiton629 2012-03-03 08:24

So why didn't the MG Sandrock EW come with...

Then a version 1.5...

Basically what I'm thinking is this..

We got the MG Wing (TV), right? It got a new frame, mold, etc. I'm sure a lot of it will repeat with the eventual MG Wing Zero (TV). So why wouldn't they use it 1 more time for a "MG Wing Zero OVA Ver"...? LOL

maknaedik 2012-03-03 09:04

There are two things that I think MG WZC needs. Pegs for the hands and the newest hip joint for MGs. That's about it. So I guess a 1.5 could work. But if they're gonna do it, I hope they do that with Strike as well.

Like I said, I hope they reuse the MG Wing (TV) for the MG Wing Zero (TV) and MG Wing Zero (OVA Ver).

=P

that doesnt make it a 2.0 or 1.5 though^^ thats just a re-release with a different frame. and since pretty much everyone is happy with the current versions of the wing zero EW i highly doubt that they would do that.

duotiga 2012-03-03 09:51

i wld say MG Nu/Hi Nu wld need a ver 2 treatment more than Wing . the proportion for the MG is so wrong compared to the HGUC counterpart....

the Hi-Nu might not need one, thats a pretty great model as it is! its also one of the most popular MGs ever^^ the fans are happy with it and it sells well so i suppose bandai doesnt see the need to make a new one.
as for the Nu gundam... i dont own that one so i dont really know that much about it. but it does seem like a good candidate for a 2.0 version! personally id prefer to see a PG release of it though!
the only obvious candidates for a version 2.0 update that i can see are the GP series gundams from stardust memory! their MG versions are terrible and they deserve better :P
id also love to see MGs from gundam evolve. and with todays know-how they would almost count as 2.0 updates in my opinion^^

Obelisk ze Tormentor 2012-03-03 10:49

I’d say the strong candidates for ver. 2.0 treatment would be MG Hyaku Shiki & MG Nu Gundam coz both of them are popular enough to warrant it. MG Hyaku Shiki for its limited articulation and its old mold and MG Nu Gundam to fix its terrible proportion (unlike the HG, the MG’s head is too big and the torso is too short) and its limited articulation.

suiton629 2012-03-03 11:26

I just feel like with the MG Wing (TV), and they fact that they didn't call it Wing on the frame and that XXXG or whatever, kind of makes me feel like a MG Wing Zero (TV) will be done, and then from there they could reuse it again with Wing Zero Custom MG... like a 1.5 with minor changes and reuse the frame from the MG Wing (TV)

mainly the strike and the nu gundam. the high amount of detail they have while still staying close to the original designs make them pretty ideal for new versions^^
i dont like the evolve version of the rx-78-2 though...
