Painting silver doesn't turn up well....

I love dioramas like this. It'd be neat if Bandai ever made some of their own to go with kits.

It seems that you also unintentionally paint the surroundings of the shoulder missile pods silver. So I took a wild guess that you paint the missiles after you assemble it. If it's true, I think you should've paint the missiles pre-assembling ;).

Oh, and very nice diorama there, Gamera. I LOVE the greenery.

The jungle seems a little bit untouched by the battle (maybe the 3 cornered the Gouf after a chase...). Exceptional work nonetheless.

i actually paint before i assemble, with exception of the leg missiles only realise should not paint white & repaint back to grey :uhoh:

A question - are model kit action bases compatible with RD models? I'm thinking of getting my first RD. (eBay deal with a guy a while back didn't go through, so...) I'm looking at getting the Garazzo - comments on that?

Apparently it works with some. the RD line has a own line of stands though.

The problem with this is that it's not painted :/ and it says that it can fit with regular MG Quanta... however not only that it's not painted, but it's a bit pricy.

The Question is this


If the name is different can it fit with regular MG Quanta? I mean is there any other GN Sword versions out there? The box looks the same but the name's different (coming from the seller).

Is the 2nd entry is the same as the first? Am I just over thinking too much?

The upper is most likely the resin kit that isn't colored.

The below/2nd one is the plastic one that's already comes in colors. It's made by BTF/Butterfly too. It's cheaper than the resin (about $30) and will fit nicely with the MG Qan[T]. So, don't worry ;).

You know one thing I wasn't quite keen on was the shield but it's totally grown on me.
With the different colours and the white down the middle it's frankly just awesome!

Question on fitting a gap (1/100 Gatling weapon handle) for a tab (MG Unicorn/Banshee hands)

How do you fix the gap? Do you sand paper it or something?

do you mean that the Banshee/Unicorn hand-peg is in the way? if you have a spare MG hand lying around somewhere, just paint it white and switch the hands out if it fits, or sandpaper the peg down but i wouldnt recommend that
