opinions will be good ^^

use a gray gundam marker for panel lines i did most faded looks exactly like the box. Juts make sure to use grey not black.... black is a nono on this kit.

I somehow managed to get rid of the problem for now. Will handle some panel-lining when I have the time (since I'm busy with work...the work that gave me money to buy that).

Maybe he didn't want it to look exactly like the box? lol... perhaps he was going for the more visible panel line effects, which IMO, might look good, even though not staying true to the real colours.

Meehlimo 2006-11-28 22:14

Lol i know its just i used gray after i used black and wel black is every overpowering on this model IMO. I thought the gray was better suited since it was lighter wit the white. Heres a pic of mine sorry it aint so great my digi is a pain in the ass.

Looks tuff.
Still interested to see black panel lines though.

(btw, please dont tell me to get my own xbone and do my own panel lines myself. I'm not as rich as some of u guys nor as good at modelling, so I'm just simply implying what I'm interested to see)

Do i have to use Gundam markers for panel lines? We can use normal felt-tips right? Like the pilot Hi-techpoint? I've never tried and dun wanna try unless it works. (Though I did use permanent black markers for vents and thrusters to make it appear to be "deeper" in depth)

Meehlimo 2006-11-29 00:16

I never use sharpies cuz as they age the ink turns purple and looks absolutly horrible on white when that happends. The fine tip gundam markers r perfect for panel lining i highly recomend everyone to pic up 1 or 2.

M_Flores 2006-11-29 02:19

Hey what kind of marker does dalong.net use for the panel lines? I can't understand the site, so yeah. I also heard someone in this thread say that the Gundam markers (the official ones) are somewhat unreliable.

lhasarus 2006-11-29 03:24

Hi (first post here. so one short Hi for You all :-) )
dalong uses Gundanmarkers and after that he goes over the same line with a technical pen. As seen here. Its called Rotring Rapidograph or Rotring Isograph. In some regions they are selled by Koh-i-Noor. If you read something like technical pen in model toturials now you know what they are writing about. They are not that cheap because they are pens for manual engineering drawings. The price span for one pen is from 15 to 25 €. The ones with thinner tips are more pricey. You should get something in the 0.2 mm region because the smaller ones are more difficult to handel (the tip is easily deformed because of to much pressure and you'll have to cleane it more often). My mother had some because of her former job. So I use them now :-)

There are types with refillable ink tanks (mine) and ones where you have to buy inc capsules (imho that is the isograph one). Here one link to the manufactorer. If u buy them at ebay you should make sure to get a new one or have much time and a good supersonic cleaner because you have to clean the tip of the pen which is usually blocked by ink (i have to clean mine with the cleaner very often...dman thing)

well what i ment was not using lines but still getting that cool gundam look but i guess lines really do make your gundam better .... the only pannel line i did for it was the leg since the box had it too LOL well for my lining needs all i use is the official gundam markers ... i have the felt tip version and the marker version .... i prefer the marker version because u line it then rub of the parts of the ink so the line is thinner.. thats how i do the mouth peice.

heres a nicely lined pg strike that i did before.

Super deformed tallgeese actionfigure??

Hi I'm new here but I'm a huge gundam wing fan and I was wondering if there was a tallgeese in any version from the original to tallgeese 3 mobilesuits made in a super-deformed action figure. I have the tallgeese dark knight of the tempest figure with the griffin armor but I really want a tallgeese action figure thats the mobilesuit. If anyone can help me out on this and where I could possibly get one It would be greatly appreciated. I have all the other gundam wing figures from the series to endless waltz including the SD gundam wing figures and that the one that I never saw in a figure except for the deformed gashapon of the tallgeese 1, 2, and 3 Please help!

theOtherGuy 2006-11-30 02:12

Well...I wouldn't say "nothing" completely...how about... Providence Zaku, Zaku Mass Production Prototype, or Noctiluca Zaku Warrior.

Tak 2006-11-30 02:59

And its ridiculous how much they are charging you for those simple conversion kits...

I wonder if people actually buys them
