Mg's usually at the end (around the 25th), but that's not always the case.
MG's also get a mid-month releases due to increasing number of releases.

1/144 HG's can released all over the month, but most still near the end.
In the past bandai posted a detailed release and rerelease schedule per month on it's japanese website, but it has vanished in recent years (can't find it anymore). That was very practical.

It's still listed on Gundam.info, aside from the hobby magazine announcements around the 3rd week of each month.

thanks guys, that's very helpful. But that hase raised another question. For the Aegis MG's release date, gundam.info says september, but HLJ says october....Which one is it?

I would go with Hobby Link Japan. They seem to be more accurate with stuff like that.

That builds a bit of suspense for me though, as my Qan[T] has been in a private warehouse for over 30 days now, and it'll take at least a month for the Aegis to be released... Damn, might as well have it shipped over now, as that red chunk of awesome will never make it in time :/

Private warehouse? You mean that HLJ thing where they'll keep it for you when they have it in stock and then ship it out when it's ready? Meh.. You could've tried Amazon or eBay to see if they have the MG 00 Qan[T]...

I just wished that Bandai would re-release the MG Strike (and packs), MG Freedom, and MG Strike Freedom using the new frame...same for Infinite Just. And we need to get a Justice.

Yeah pretty much. And now, he even add MG Strike Freedom 2.0 & MG Infinite Justice 2.0 to his near-impossible wishlist. This guy’s ridiculousness knows no bounds and I’m kinda entertained by it (even though I’m not a masochist).

On another note, I think Aegis pose for that cover is boring. Why doesn’t the illustrator draw it with its yellow beams which I swear will be much more appealing to buyers than the overdone pointing-gun pose.

I don't quite get why Infinite Justice needs a new frame. The only thing that needs to get fixes is SF, but IJ?! It has a sliding panel for legs, some gimmicks here and there and now it needs a new frame?

No seed Mg's need a version 2.0 at this moment , not even strike. The only thing i don't like about them (strike and freedom that is) is the fact that they do not have pins in their hands to lock their weapons into place. For the rest they are still great!

While I disagree that no MG needs a 2.0, the fact is we are getting MG Nu Ver Ka and some amazing suits so while some could use it I love Bandai focusing on giving us more new stuff then worrying about just the old stuff over and over again.

To be fair if any SEED suit could do with a 2.0 (or maybe just a 1.5) it would be Strike. Mainly because it is a part of the GAT series and next to the modern kits it probably will look a bit dated.

Anyway, I'm liking that Aegis box art, it's nothing unique or anything but I love the colour contrast between the red of the Aegis and the blue of the Earth, striking without being overbearing.

I build the Palace Athene, and I can only recommend it :D Very detailed and really unique. It's also quite the big kit, it will definitely stand out ;) I say, go for it :D
