To my knowledge, Bandai rarely does that. The best job IMHO Bandai had of distinguishing model kits with features was with the HGUC Zaku II's. You really HAD to buy all of them (the Garma Custom, Char Custom, MP version) to get all of the features including the Magella top cannon and bazooka, not to mention the different head on the Garma custom.

i dont remember that the old one got a beam shield

LoweGear 2007-01-12 11:28

*Dalong checks*

You're right, the old MG Crossbone doesn't have a beam shield. Although that still means that you have to buy the Full Cloth version if you want a beam shield for your old MG Crossbone :heh:

The original MG Zaku IIs (Char and Normal) had different weapons. Same deal with the numerous Gelgoogs. And also Aile Strike and Strike IWSP, which is the same Strike with different Striker packs. I'm sure there are some more examples.

Just noticed people.

But isn't MG Hi-Nu essentially the 99th MG model Bandai have released?

Think they're going to release something major for the 100th MG?

Now that looks pretty! (having a chick moment! Damn daughter is a bad influence!!) From what series are these from if you don't mind the Q, from where I'm at I've never heard of these at all!

Cheers

Stupid me who have bought the Ver.Ka version. The Full Cloth looks very very nice. But I now can't afford to buy it since Hi-Nu is coming. Well, at least the Ver. Ka has the cool cape that is very very hard to put on

Wow, Raven? Is that supposed to be like an armored core conversion? Anyway, it looks pretty sweet. BTW, i wonder if we'll see an MG version of the nightingale anytime soon, now that the Hi-Nu is coming out...

Deus EpS Machina 2007-01-13 00:43

I expect a Nighingale by the end of the year, possibly before the 100th MG (maybe even the 100th MG). We have a MG Hi-Nu coming out and a Bandai rep did hint at "something special" planned for this year in theMG line. Whether its the Hi-Nu, Nightingale or something else entirely...im excited.

But plz to Nightingale Bandai. I dont want to spend 2x as much on a possible MG Nightingale.

Nope, MG Hi-Nu is supposedly the official 96th MG. That means four more MG's till the elusive 100th. Which I surely hope isn't something like a Gundam 3.0 or something... com'n, give use ZZ 2.0!

Deus EpS Machina 2007-01-13 01:27

Hi-Nu being the 96th, out in February...leaving four more...making the 100th one to be released in June...im still betting its a Nightingale.

Though...a special...actuall 2.0 Gundam isnt something Bandai will overlook

LightningZERO 2007-01-13 03:29

Maybe the 100th release is a newly designed Gundam? Like Gundam G-100!

I can hope. But I think mostly will end up with a better version of RX-78-2 Gundam

GameraBaenre 2007-01-13 04:06

My money's on a Zaku II ver 2.0 or something piloted by Char and the 100th... hell, I'll even settle for a Zaku II Kai.

azizol_shahrir 2007-01-13 04:41

this might sound silly......
maybe the 100th release is...........MG Dendrobium........ :D

sounds silly & stupid I know...... :heh: :heh: :heh:

Deus EpS Machina 2007-01-13 04:59

you must be referring to MG GP03 Dendrobium Orchis...cuz we already have a Stamen >.>

What's the point? ZZ seems already good enough. What's frustrating is that you can't make a Enhanced ZZ without bying the Full Armor version :(

duotiga 2007-01-13 09:22

MG V2 Assualt Buster :D

Fafnir 2007-01-13 14:46

Nightengale is just way too big to not have an insane price. I don't think Bandai will make it, way to expensive.

But whatever the 100th is, it better be good.l
