Im planning to buy a HG 1/144 aile strike gundam just for collecting and posing. First I would like the strike collection, but it doesnt have HG 1/144 sword or launcher strike.

I was wondering...are the NG 1/144 sword and launcher parts (from the cheap ones that are like statues) compatiable with the HG 1/144 aile strike gundam?

Are the NG 1/144 aegis, blitz, buster, and duel worth it or should i go with 1/144 HGs?

It would be awesome if its compatiable, its cheaper to buy the sword and launcher.

Thanks!

I know you got some answers already, but I thought you might want to see a picture of how it is. You can visit up my blog on this link, and you'll notice my HG 1/144 Strike is using a Sword Pack as well as my HG 1/144 Dagger, and the Aile pack is on the NG 1/144 Strike as well as the other NG 1/144 Strike is using the Launcher pack. Well, maybe not a clear picture but it's visible :heh:

wow, thanks guys! This really helps, I dont want to buy 1/100s as they arent that great from what I hear about their articulation and how fragile they are(the only good ones in my opinion are when BEE-CRAFT took over and did the ones from Infinite Justice up until the Akatsuki which I have, the strike freedom one was not good).

Im on a budget now too so I'm trying to collect on the 1/144 HG scale. The only 1/100s im interested in are the MGs. What do you guys think about this: Is there a point in getting MG Strike Rogue if you already have MG aile strike?

AND

Is it a good idea to buy a few action bases for some kits or a mass of them for all your kits?

EDIT:
Oh yea, I'm going to put the sword striker pack on the HG strike, its so cool with the big sword!

I saw your site, its great! You have a big collection, it seems that the 1/144 are pretty good. Do you usually panel line you HG 1/144s? It is compatiable alright with the striker packs to the HG 1/144 strike.

I wonder if the Red Frame Astray is compatiable with the aile striker pack or the force impulse pack?

Thanks again for the help guys, Sorry for the double posting, mangatron's collection is really great.

Damn it...I broke my Hi-Nu's leg joint....

I'm so screwed up :(

If the no-grade Striker Packs are compatible with the HG Strike, how about wizard packs? Would a HG Zaku Phantom be able to mount the no-grade Slash Wizard, and how much modification is needed? I've taken a look at instructions from the relevant kits, and it seems that all the no-grade unit is missing is a connection peg.
