hey all, just recieved the 1/100 Gundam Astraea.
Just wondering what kind of white, blue, red and grey spray paints i should get for the parts.
I mean I know I can order gundam white and the paints from HLJ where I get my gunpla from.
But I live in the UK and would like to know what shades of what colours i should buy >.<
oh yeh, im referring to spray paints from Tamiya, revvel etc.

Personally I go for Humbrol Spray Paints, because of the unavailability of Tamiya. Humbrol has a much much smaller collection - but the quality is good. Tamiya should be back early 2009 I think.

Also If you buy your Gunpla from Rainbowten (http://www.rainbowten.co.jp/english/) you might find you save a bit of cash.

I personally prefer the Cherudim designs over Dymames. I like the yellow horns at the side of the head. Looks like Robin Hood :D

Ain't that always the case? :D

Wondering what its 'tail' actually does

I still think that those bits are GN Fangs, or possibly spare armor pieces.

duotiga 2008-09-16 07:00

did i see the knee joint is movable also?

plus

more on HG Gn-x III A-Laws type

bigger boxart

Wow the GNXIII are really sexy, it's kind of weird though, it looks more like a downgrade from GNX than an upgrade. Mainly because the "X" is halved.

Cherudim is still really ugly, his head is still so chunky...

So is it confirmed that the duplicated armor platings are actually detachable fang pieces yet?

LightningZERO 2008-09-16 12:04

LMAO. There's some GN-XIII getting blown to pieces in that boxart :D

Kelrys 2008-09-16 12:05

Looks as awesome as the original GNX

Sir Dearka 2008-09-16 14:53

I like this GN-X more. The lance and the color are sexy :)

I keep my fingers crossed for a 1/100 version. And happy to see Keldim not looking that bad. I have to consider buying it :P

GuidoHunter_Toki 2008-09-16 15:28

oh love the new GNX. The design is very sleek looking and every part of the it looks like it fits perfectly into the overall design.

Kelrys 2008-09-16 23:15

When is the HG 00's release date again?

LightningZERO 2008-09-17 00:06

24th September

Kelrys 2008-09-17 00:26

aww.. gonna wait till mid october for it to reach my local store.

BTW, loving the box art of the 00 line.

Question: How do you guys fix loose joints on models? I have a few where their shoulder pads and the joint below the shoulder is loose.

I just pasted double-sided tapes on the ball joints.... Pretty crude way of solving such problem... But I know there are experts here who knows better. :D

what i do is i do a THIN "coat" of super glue over the joint after taking it apart - yes wait till it dries b4 u put it together, works well on ball joints too or well most joints, other then that even a tad of blu tack will work too, both serve to tighten the joint.

though if you wana go pro use modelling clay

I'm somewhat hoping that Cherudim docks with the Seravee or something, there's gotta be an explanation for the odd feet and the major huge Gaplant style fins in the back. Or maybe I'm thinking too much and it's just design features.... :heh:

But I'm worried! How is the Cherudim supposed to sit down?!? I have to know!!!

:heh: :heh:

btw There are different colors of the GNX-III's right? My mind is kinda befuddled right now to look into it and I'm not digging the Athrun colors (awesome design ja)

I've given up on thinking on the whole "combining" thing.

As for Cherudim, it's tail can form a chair!:heh:

The GN-XIII's are different colors because one is the EF main army (purple blue) and the others are A-Laws (red).
