Hmm. Highlighters seem to rub of easily though.

for my bushido ahead I just simply did two coats of Tamiya Acrylic Paint X (Gloss) Color X-26. Clear orange. Paint a coat on. let it dry for an hour. paint another coat on. let it dry for another hour and done.

And I've seen the HGUC Kshatriya in the flesh. It's easily scaled up to most 1/100 kits and definately worth the price tag of 4500 yen.

I just came back form the expo and... OMG

Reborns will be released on the 10th, so I'll be heading to Compass Point again during that day.

And I also managed to get pictures of the VS Astray models, including Regen Duel and the Providence(forgot the name).... And they also had another mobile suit for the series called Astray Mirage if i remember correctly.


I'll post up pictures of them later today. And I agree with MakubeX2, The Kshatriya is f-ing huge!! Quite huge for a High Grade...

The 14th. Lots of time.

I dropped by at the Fiesta today. The model displays and stuff were nice, and it's great to be able to see the upcoming Astray and Unicorn models in person, especially the HG Kshatriya. Unfortunately I'm pretty disappointed at the prices. The retail part of the Fiesta is sponsored by Metro, so even though the prices are 20% off the retail price, it's still pretty expensive compared to buying stuff from a hobby shop. Oh well.

It's nice to see some of the future releases on display. Guntank was awesome and the coming MG Blue Frame featured the most surface details on a MG I have ever seen. Kshatriya gave me deja vu after examining it up close but the price tag is indeed well worth it.

Now I'm hoping there aren't too many stickers on the Reborns, since the chest piece is a clear part over a sticker. =/

It stands fine.

The only Innovator suit that really has trouble for me is the Gadessa, but only when I equip the GN Mega Launcher. The launcher-less Gadessa stands well enough.


Oh, and I really want to see the GRM Gundam and the Gaga in HG someday.

don't know if this has been mentioned yet but:

Dalong has got Gale Strike and Hail Buster info (not the model review yet), but looking at the instructions, it seems as if both can use each others weapons packs. Dunno if any other HG 1/100 packs are usable though. But Gale Strike shows a boxart of the HG 1/100 AIle Strike, and Hail has one of the 1/100 Buster, but I don't know what it could/would mean...

The Gale Strike really screams "00 Raiser" -like to me.

If its not limited edition (and if I find some extra money in my pocket), I might buy it.

When I was at the Fiesta, out of every 10 people I see, 6-7 of them are carrying the Gale Strike models in their shopping bags 0_0

Honestly speaking, I think these guys look waay better in model kit form.

A few more pointers:
- Regen Duel sports a Zeta-ish face
- It also seems to be armed with a cannon identical to the one used by the Astray Gold Frame
- For the Mirage Frame, it was shown somewhere in the Fiesta that it's gonna sport mostly purple colors.. much like one of the custom DSSD Astrays(forgot the guy's name, again)

Nix is hands down the WORST of the lot. I've actually gotten used to Gale Strike now.

Mirage looks OK. And it's gonna be purple? Put all the Astrays together and you've got yourself a regular Power Rangers team :heh:

is duel's original bazooka not canon...anyway gonna get regen duel....wondering the pack can swap with gold frame? then can pose double bazooka lol

I'm turned off at the beam saber gimmic on duel. So far its the best one imo.

Is HG Reborns Gundam cheaper at the Fiesta (39) or at normal hobby shops? I mean, I really want it, but if it's more expensive, then I'd rather wait.

Oh, and the sharpie markers you mentioned - where can I get them? I'm relatively new to gunpla, so please guide me along >_<
