I am fairly uncertain whether he holds on to his memories. The last sentence kind of looked like he let go of them. It also seems like a time rewind before the summoning in the real world (or at least removing the effects of it), thus he is now in the original world in its original state.


Now I hope it's not gonna be 100% redo of the jurney or revenge.

And yep, the Miko is almost certainly controlled by her god. The change from "I don't like the god and always think about the thinks myself" to "The god said this, so it's gonna be OK" is too abrupt and her faltering gives that away. Now we can just hope Maou or someone like that does something.

At the beginning Kaito was resurected thanks to a goddess. That can't be the same goddess as the goddess of the religion of the priestess correct? I mean Alesia had an inner monolgue where she thought about the divine order of the great spirit to summon a hero (and that should be the religion of the humans of this world). So is there another god who is playing them against each other? In the prologue the priestess was already talking about 'all evil is purified by the will of god' Perhaps the next part will give us an explanation."

POV switches to Meteria who is happy that Kaito was succesfully transfered back
She wants to remvoe the 'insects' but is stopped but another girl (this seems to be a goddess) who takes Kaito's companions and dissappears
Epilogue ends with the news of a massacre and an invasion(?)
So from what I get is that the timeline seems to diverge now. Kaito was transferred to the time before the summoning happens while in the other world time seems to go on. Otherwise Meteria's thoughts make no sense.

Not sure who's monolgue it is but i suspect it's from Kaito
Seems like he will retain his memoties in his world and he seems to want to heal and completly forget about Leticia.

Kaito wakes up in a hospital room and his body is covered with scars though he feels fine(looks like the transfer is no real 'go back in time')
the doctor examines him and asks him about his memories. Kaito answers he hit his head then nothing. Also interesting : it seems his memory stops at 2015 while the doctor says now it's 2016
His siblings also enter the room and they are relieved to see Kaito awake
Kaito is examined and two men in suits show up and they want to question him
the docotr gives a short status of Kaito: despite the heavy injuries he is fine also his brain etc are fine (except the memory loss of one year). Now the kicker: Kaito seems to have disappeared for nearly a year and was brought to the hospital a week ago with heavy injuries
And at last it seems he was hold back a year thanks to his dissapearance and will have to repeat a school term.

So quite interesting. No 'back before the first summoning but rather a 'send back to earth after the start of 'new game +'' Though it seems that his family and his friends were not killed when his second time in the other world started. Or (probably unlikely) the princess was lying about the summoning price....

Mai isn't related to him by blood. The summoning requires a price of his blood relatives. And the only relative we've seen is his sister. And the police are clearly interested in him so it's obvious his classmates are dead. The prologue's first part is Mai, and the second part is unknown, but it's not Kaito since the person uses boku instead of ore.

Also, the epilogue for the last arc ends with the demons invading. Pointing out that he'll probably get re-summoned sooner than planned.

Later it is revelaed that the curse was removed but the necklace lost all it's power in return. I think she is currently looking for ways to get back at Kaito

Ok the mass sacrifice really happened. Chapter starts with the statement of the investigator to Kaito that nearly 200 people went missing: students and teachers from his school dissapeared within a big light
Investigator pressures Kaito to remember but Mai steps in to shield Kaito. Kaito promises to answer once he remembers anything
Inestigator leaves and talks with doctor also Kaito's family completely (even grandparents and aunts) dissapeared (ok the princess did not lie. They are really dead)
They joke (?) that Kaito might have been summoned to another world and returned and the investigator (I think) suspects that it might be ture considering Kaito's appearance

Poor Kaito from the fire into the frying pan. Sure his life might be safe but he will probably under heavy surveillance and his lift might as best be considered ruined regardless if on earth or in the other world. I guess what I could gather is that he seems to still have his powers since he seems to be physically fine he just doesn't know about it

Kaito is talking with Mai (?) who shows him a list from the police with all missing persons (his friends and family included)
Kaito feels that there is something from his memories but he gets a headache as he tries to remember and Mai convinces him to sleep
He dreams about the past he had with Mai and the dream ends with Mai being hospitalized
and himself being swallowd (probbaly his summoning to the other world)
KAito wakes up and leaves the room to find something to eat
He overhears a conversation about him and he gets a bad feeling ( I think it was about Mai who is all alone, just like him)

Continuing from last chapter, Kaito turns anxious from hearing his parents and grandparents are gone he runs out of the hospital
He is stopped by a woman who wants to talk with him and Kaito refuses and he nearly says 'I will kill you' which makes him feel that something is amiss sinc ehe feels as if he is used to it
He asks the woman for money in exchange for a later interview
He takes a taxi to his home adress and he enters the house
He meets Mai again and promises to never leave again but at the same time he seems to feel strong emotions about the things he seems to have locked up

Chapter starts with Kaito being in hospital again (his escape was noticed and he was forced to come back for a few more days
His parents are presumed dead when Kaio was summoned they were driving in a car and the car crashed through a guardrail and their bodies could not be found (so I guess they dissapeared while driving)
Mai has been living of the insurance and Kaito hopes he can support her in the future
During his stay he is suddenly visited by his best friend (and ikeman) Yuuto
Yuuto tells him about the 'dissapearnce day' Yuuto was not there when Kaito was summoned (he was called to a teacher) but he saw a bright light
He probes Kaito for his memories but Kaito can't remember anything from the 1 year time span
Kaito wants to change the tv channel (the tv is running while they are talking) and suddenly he stops because the person in the interview seems to be talking about him

Kaito and Yuuto watch the tv show about the school incident
A handy video is shown which shows how the students and teachers are enveloped by light and dissapear
Kaito feels nauseaous and dizzy after seeing this yet he doesn't know why while Yuuto talks to him and when Yuuto mentions that this incident was likend to the cliche 'summoned to another world' Kaito's heart start to beat rapidly (looks like his memories might soon return)
Yuuto talks more about the incident and about the offical handling and at the end Kaito's head starts to hurt
