Oh a chapter did come out after all this week?

Based on one of the scans released, seems like Quincies have an even more powerful form than the Letzt Stil as seen on Kirge (which seems to have a halo on his head :heh:).

EDIT: Well, here's a full look at Kirge's transformation, and it's not pretty....

That fight between Ishida and mayuri could have been a false holy form. Wonder if ishida will have his own form.

Just finished reading the chapter. It did a good job or bringing up another bunch of questions. I'm looking forward to finding out what Ishida's exact connection to these guys really is. Because they apparently know a lot about him. Even more intriguing was the fact Kirge insisted that the power of Ishida's arrows couldn't possibly be weaker than his own despite the fact that Ichigo claimed otherwise. Why would Kirge say that I wonder? I'll be disappointed if this leads to Kubo revealing that Ishida's been holding back his powers the entire time. But this could be kind of neat if there's a more creative explanation for it. Finally, I'm getting the impression that Kirge's transformation isn't going to rid him of his powers once this is all over. So this bodes well for Ishida's future if its true.

Looks like demon-angel forms from DMC 4 and mix with Akuma lvl 4 from D. Gray-man.

that's is the same first impression I had... indeed... that's a form of disgusting Akuma from D-Grayman :D
quincies still got many mysteries behind their power

so.... I think a complete destruction will be happened in Soul Society...
then Ichigo will lead them to rise against those quincies

as usual, the chapter is short. big panels, too many drawings, less dialogue and more vagueness. i should be used to this by now but for some reason this chapter annoyed me. :eyebrow:

Fun, if short, chapter. I really hope Kubo goes for the whole 'Ishida was a plant/spy' angle that has been discussed in previous chapter threads.

Can't wait to see the full power of a True Quincy.

Uh, is this turning into a German manga:uhoh:? I almost bit my tongue pronouncing the words coming out of Kirge.
Not really surprising that Quinces have a "released form". Everybody else does. It would've been ridiculous if they didn't have something on the level of Bankai release and still managed to defeat the captains( I'm ignoring their Bankai sealing power).
But still, more questions than answers in this chapter.

You know, if he did, it might turn into something interesting indeed - but if instead he dangles the 'Ishida-might-be-a-plant' idea in front of readers for weeks only to then "slightly" change the heading to Ishida-plant-oups-sry-red-herring-trolololol ...

That indeed would be fun as it seems so far we haven't seen half.

I still wonder though, are these guys truly using 'pure' Quincy powers? or is there something else to it? The remark that Ishida ought to be stronger seems to suggest that it is truly Quincy powers (assuming there is no plottwist here with Ishida's powers...) I'm wondering if it will turn into something as simple as the Uryu being kinda 'royality' amongst quincy, or if you want, a specially talented family line ... maybe they are descendants of that old leader dude Genryusay failed to put down?



No, it is not. It is just one other cheap cliche that Kubo fails to NOT steep himself in :D Oke, Oke, the Quincy names were always german, but the ones earlier in the story still made do without the whole nazi-allusion...not to mention the earlier ones like Seele(n)Schneider at least were (for the most part) spelled correctly. The Vanden Terminology and it's rape of even the most remote resemblance to accurate spelling makes me cringe though :heh:

The dude's final release is indeed fuggly but it suits him well. :D
Urahara being degraded to carrying Nel around and otherwise being ignored, - not sure, should I laugh or cry? It began as "Urahara/Ichi invade HM" ...
The Ishida plant/spy angle might get me interested if I only could trust Kubo to not needlessly troll this. Sadly I cannot, though that might be my mistake not Kubo's :D

The thing that I don't understand is :

weren't Ishida and his Dad the last Quincies?

Look, in Shounen manga when someone says "X and Y are the last of their kind" you can be sure that at some point in the future plenty of them will be popping out of nowhere, saying they were in hiding all this time.

So Ishida is hiding his power ?

I thought the dude was going to call his new form Crown Clown or something when he pulled that glove off...

He kinda reminds me of a level 4 Akuma :<

Bet mah cookiez that Ishida's power will be either retconed or get srs by using another trinket. Fail transformation imo, his wings have so little shape that I could literally draw better ones, and I'm not an artist...plus, he's wearing a bit too much stuff, the halo looks like it was taken off a car wheel and he is wearing heels. Wat.

Looking forward to Ryuuken's badass entrance, whenever that is.

It's pages like 11 that kill this series.
