Probably whatever the longest Miyazaki movie is... I've also watched three episodes striaght of Lucky Star with my wife, my ass and back hurt after that though :(

Solafighter 2009-01-29 05:48

Maximum 9 hours(~ 26 episodes)

On my next holidays, i will watch both seasons of Higurashi, so in total round about 16 or 17 hours.

I have a pretty good couch. :D

Roughly 12 hours. Watched Detective Conan 484 to 506 in one night to get through the clash of red and black arc.

Around 13 or 14 hours at once. I usually watch my anime in 4 episode blocks, but once in the when the anime I watch is "that good" I cant resist and marathon it in one sitting. The first time (and probably longest sitting) was Neon Genesis Evangelion plus movie (I was fourteen at time and it was one of my first anime, so I needed two or three days to recover from that...).
Other ones being Cowboy Bebop, Fate/Stay night, Bokurano, Spice and Wolf, Nanoha & Nanoha As (the last three is only 13 ep anime so that was only six/seven hours).

3 hours of Shugo Chara methinks.
That's a lot for me...considering how short my attention span is.

Psychopathic Otaku 2009-01-29 20:42

5 hours ^^ Just a regular Saturday night for me... God I am so lonely TwT lol j/k

Claude 2009-01-29 22:04

9 hours nonstop for about 2 to 3 days, ONe Piece Marathon...

C.A. 2009-01-31 07:22

One Piece marathons are common because it grips you to the screen for entire arcs and the next entire arc for days until you're totally exhausted.

panzerfan 2009-01-31 07:34

my worse marathon was with Legend of Galactic Heroes. That was i think about one full day straight and very draining. Going 1-110 on that series itself was nuts. I have not seen the Gaiden yet...

Miko Miko 2009-01-31 10:02

My longest hm.. well I watched the full School Days series in one sitting.

miscs 2009-01-31 11:36

5 hours it was getting late so I had to stop :(

Larthak 2009-01-31 13:03

I usually do the "2-hour runs" as I call them, but when I got my hands on Kannagi, I watched it all at once (finished the standard 4 eps and felt like I want 4 more, that kept going until the end). It was 13 episodes, so that's slightly above 5 hours.

I've never done any extremes and I never plan to, because the faster I watch my favourite series, the sooner it's over. And every time I finish them, I feel kinda sad for not having more (it's that "I wonder when the next series gets announced..." kind of feeling :heh:).

Ryu-kun 2009-02-01 03:14

16 hours for watching 15 episodes of Toradora a week ago.

I got hooked to the series now.

Lyreleaf 2009-02-01 09:02

I usually watch no more than 2-3 hours in a single sitting. The only exception is when I watched all 24 episodes of Love*Com back to back in a single day. (Which, now that I think about it, wasn't exactly a healthy thing to do... :heh: )

shinryou 2009-02-02 08:23

around 22 hours believe me or not... marthoned full metal alchemist and the movie.... bathroom breaks of course

kayote 2009-02-02 08:37

k'2 2009-02-02 08:42

about 10 to 12 hours with bathroom breaks i've done it about 2 times but not all time

i mostly 2 hours as maximum in normal days and extends to 4 in holidays

Arveene 2009-02-02 17:56

I ended up watching all of Higurashi in one sitting.. the next day I finished off all of Kai. I was sick and didn't have anything else to do so why not?

Reckoner 2009-02-02 18:19

I grinded 40 hours of Naruto (The first 85-90 episodes or so with a couple of naps), went to sleep for like 6 hours, woke up and finished up another 45 episodes. Time went by so fast...!

I commonly do grind 13 or 26 episodes series on weekends.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 18:31.
