So I've just started my RG Exia (bought it more than six months ago, whoops) and I've hit a bit of a snag. On the lower leg, for the GN condensor strip, a thin sheet of flexible plastic is used on top of a shiny sticker. However, I can't get it to bend to fit the shape of the shin. The manual tells you to use your finger to push it in, but I can't get it to bend for the life of me. It just stays straight. It doesn't look too obvious and I don't mind leaving it as it is, but I was wondering if any of you experienced the same thing and/or have some sort of fix for this.

The plastic is made of Polyethylene, the same material used in polycaps for HG kits. Try immersing it in very warm water for awhile, because these PE strips tend to harden a bit if left too long. I'm buildign my RG Exia myself and I'm holding off using those strips until AFTER I've detailed and painted the mechanical bits.

I see. Was googling around and came across this review (scroll down about two-thirds the page) - this picture shows what I'm talking about. Oh well, I'm a little too lazy, I think I'll just leave it as it is. Thanks for the tip, though! I'll take note of that.

Damn holiday seasons, not as much money to spend on gunpla

At any rate I went to my hobby store where they just had a giant ass restock,

Lo and behold they had so many kits I wanted

In the end I went with the universal booster, a old HG? Devil Gundam for my brother, aaaaannnnddd

A 2007 C3 MG Chars Z'gok Extra Finish Ver., boy was I surprised to see that, so I grabbed it for $53, not sure if worth, but its cool

Anyone else ever see exclusive kits at your shops? This was a huge surprise for me

wavehawk 2014-12-12 07:01

I get the feeling something's missing in this build.

Just a request in case anyone here have the kits: How does fitting Astray Blue Frame Second Revise's backpack on Blue Frame D look? Pictures would be nice if you could get one. Been looking online for anyone whose done the backpack switch and looks like no one has done it. Not even Hobby no Toriko.

They can use the RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. 3.0 as a base and you got yourself a Red Warrior... an A-Meijin Red Warrior!

Seriously, though. An Re100 F90 would be damn insulting, considering they went through all the trouble of making a mockup prototype MG F90. It'd be like releasing an HG Strike Gundam after releasing an RG Strike Gunda----

......

...oh, never mind. >(

According to the instructions, th eMega-Shiki is based off the Delta Gundam, not the Hyaku Shiki as first thought. Well, it kind of works. But I'll probably buy this kit to mod it rather than build as-is.

The Mega Shiki definitely needs some work on its colour scheme. But yeah, I think some of us guessed that it'd be using the Delta's frame instead of the old Hyaku.

To be fair though the HGCE Strike IMO was better than the RG, cheaper, no loose parts, much more solid (from what I have seen in reviews) and the proportions are way better

That would be glorious

Someone help me decide:

MG Tallgeese 2?

or

MG Tallgeese 3?

I freaking love both but I cant justify paying that much to get two extremely similar kits X_X

3 has awesome aesthetics and weapons, though I dont quite dig the mostly white color scheme as much, and is more expensive (comparing to 2)

2 has the classic/standard armanents, a gundam face, a better color scheme, and the almight Treize pose, and is less expensive (comparing to 3)

HALP ME
