:uhoh: Which was why I put the "smile" in there... :heh:

Looking back, BD didn't realeased a RX-78-2 Ver 2.0 before. Of course, They did release a RX-78-2 Ver 1.5....

Let us await what gimmicks they'll pulled with a RX-78-2 Ver 2.0.

duotiga 2007-03-31 05:35

where is MG Full Armour Mk II???

aikming 2007-03-31 08:17

Perfect grade is very much different from mastergrade. They are not just bigger version. They have a lot more engineering design and parts involved.

and honestly, notworth the money...its just a giant toy cuz everything is done for you. At least with MGs there is still some stuff left topaint...not so in PGs cuz Bandai moulds everything in colour

I think this is very wrong. As aikming said, they have more parts and better engineering. I myself have 3 PG's(2 built 1 in cold storage) and forgot where my PG Zeta is, and I will tell you they are much more than just a toy. For one thing not everything is done for you, you still have to put the electrical wires together, not to mention there are more than 300 parts per PG, mobility levels are twice as much as their MG counterpart (very notable is the Wing Zero Custom), and I can go on and on about what else a PG is. But "giant toy" is seriously going to far...for one thing it's a model kit :eyebrow:

And what of that "not so in PG's(stuff to paint)"? Look at my PG Zaku! It's not even fully painted and I like it. And let me remind everyone it comes with a very purple Heat Hawk. As in, you have to very paint it yourself :heh:

Here I thought not everyone has time to paint... and lol...I got my PG Zaku for $80 with overnight delivery....RX-78-2 $95 for 2 day service, and PG Wing Zero for $130 with 2 day as well....:heh:

And of course, the last PG designed was back in 2004 I believe...engineering has grown very much since then.

Hmm, I can see it now. Since the OYW RX-78 was good for it's time, I think the things it's missing are the pluses. Like, RX-78-2 Ver 2.0 would have a core fighter that can bend with the waist, HY2M head, and....what else is there lol...

Aha, they don't have to make the size 1/100. Why not make it a 1/72 scale? :heh: :heh:

Finished building my Dawn 1/100:

Dawn equipped with Oowashi:

M_Flores 2007-03-31 20:39

damn subie, that thing looks hot. Does anyone know if the stand comes standard or is it just first edition thing again? I'm talking about the Akatsuki, btw.

I believe bandai have scrapped the first production runs now, the Dawn 1/100 comes with a black version of the clear stand that were included with the first production run on destiny 1/100 . Dawn is compatible with the action base so the stand is not a problem.

Ironman 2007-04-01 06:34

btw that gundam looks awesome

The HCMPro Destroy though? Now that is a surprise O_O I wonder how large that thing will be...

I believe there was a picture of it - of a demo model - in the recent "Gundam Ace" issue. If I remember correctly, in MA(?) mode (backpack on its shoulders), the HCM-Pro #39 Freedom came to a bit above its knees. The usual HCM-Pro figure's size is about 4-5 in or so, so maybe about 12-15 in for the HCM-Pro Destroy? It's definitely going to be expensive; blogs are listing the Destroy for 6825 yen(!).

Not that you won't be able to buy it more cheaply, but still, that's high for an action figure, IMHO.

kct 2007-04-01 15:05

Nah, the 1/100 GFF Metal Composite are a lot higher.

With such a silhouette, there's no guessing what the 100th MG will be......

I guess we can count out the V2 Assault Buster. :upset:

You never know, Bandai will announce the MG 100 in 5/17..
So, in the meantime you can send your vote to Bandai about V2 :D

Ironman 2007-04-02 02:30

i have another question, whats better im your guys opinion, to buy a MG 1\100 or to buy the cheap 1\60 scale, the standard ones, not PG

LoweGear 2007-04-02 02:30

Get yourself a MG 1/100, since they typically have better features and detail than the 1/60s.

sweet, was looking at a PG but too much money it cost, but now that i have someones opinion, i might buy 5-6 MG's

MakubeX2 2007-04-02 02:39

Taking accounts into the time needed for designing a model kits as well as making the master mould of it, I believe that BD had already planned the 100th MG way ahead of us. And my guess is the RX-78-2 Ver 2.0

What they are doing now is making a survey as a reference to future releases.

LightningZERO 2007-04-02 05:35

Just completed my Hi-Nu. A real master piece. Well worth the price. It is beautiful...the articulation is great, detail is great, everything is great.............

Except that the Fin Funnels don't really attach to Hi-Nu's back firmly. They always fall easily....

Honey_and_Cleaver 2007-04-02 05:42

I just finished building my MG Gundam Noir Striker Omni Enforcer .

Damn coolest gundam ive ever assembled. I wonder its twin beam rifles+grenade launcher. How would it do in actuall combat.

I hope that there is a gundam stargazer game in developement.

Ironman 2007-04-02 06:05
