the knee joint can only bend to 90 degrees, however u can move the upper thigh part back as well (although it is somewhat difficult, and you will here like a 'clanking' noise when u do it), this allows it to do a kneeling pose. to be honest articulation on the leg isnt bad but the joints are very stiff and the ankle joints could of been much improved

Been so busy lately that Cao Cao was in his box for over 4 months after purchase.

Any comments?

Aks, missed it. The sword was in his hand when I painted it.

Hope the legs will be better this time, that was a serious flaw of Susanowo.

GrahamAker 2009-12-10 11:57

This 1 is definately a must buy! Can anybody guess which will be the next mg in 00 lineup.

SonicSP 2009-12-10 12:04

uh.....00?

GrahamAker 2009-12-10 12:07

shud be arche or zwei or gnflag

Tormenk 2009-12-10 13:28

Will be awhile before the next 00 MG..I'm thinking an Exia variation. Otherwise after the GNX the groundwork is already laid to milk the variations.

Wasn't there an announcement of roll out colors MG Exia awhile ago? Or did I imagine that?

I always thought that the rifle was supposed to be attached to a power generator but change is always good to. Again sweet job on the sniper. Keep up the great work.

Any other projects that you are thinking of doing next?

Thanks, glad you like it. Next project will probably non gunpla ;) Gonna try my hand at an armor kit - something I haven't done in well over 20 years..

Rollout Exia MG was a limited release, and it doesn't convert to R2 (no R2 parts). I think.

From the instructions, apparently the legs are exactly the same, except the thrusters are attached to the waist-thigh socket instead of on a separate waist piece. Bandai might have made minute changes to the mold, but I doubt it.

GN0010 Nosferatu 2009-12-10 20:32

I'm so happy Bandai used a secure peg to keep the Arches rifle in its hand. That's going to make posing it a lot easier.

Dynamite 2009-12-10 20:55

Wow...the Arche Gundam Robot Damashii is just a hundred times better than the 1/144 HG.

Wide "firing" gap.

Fangs...need I say more...?

GN0010 Nosferatu 2009-12-10 21:44

Everything is better with Robot Damashii.

Armor that is a change.. Are you going Modern or World War stuff? Can't wait to see what details you have in mind..

Kitaeryu 2009-12-10 22:45

The only thing that I don't like about the Robot Damashii line is that they are quite small, less than a 1/144 and I prefer 1/100 models. Just wondering, is the detail of the RD line as good as say a 1/144 HG model? Looking at the pictures of the 007S it seems like it doesn't have as many detail lines (i.e. panel lines, even though you don't normally panel line RDs but you get the idea). And are they worth it? They're quite a bit more expensive than a 1/144.

Just curious.
