Well, God was given a HGFC treatment, it should not be a surprise that the rest of G casts should follows. But I was hoping that Master will be given priority.

LoweGear 2010-07-31 04:22

Or at least Shining Gundam. I'm still holding out for the HGAC series though...

so i have a can of top coat, i want my models to have a matte effect, do i just spray it at the trees before starting assembly?

MakubeX2 2010-07-31 23:12

Wouldn't be long now before someone mod a Dark Templar-Exia or a Zealot-GN-X

BEFORE assembly? Probably not a good idea, as you still have to cut the part from the tree, and you're left with the nub to fix. Unless you aren't too particular about detailing your gunpla...

You can if if you want, I do that occasionally but as mentioned the its not going to be perfect because of the nubs but personally I'm fine with it.

Although doing it after assembly may be better since I think it also saves you some paint since all the parts are already there and you would not waste any on spraying parts that turned out to be "internal".

But if you decide to do it after assembly that though, I'd suggest you cover up any clear parts with masking tape since they get messed up by flat topcoat. If you want to spray it before assembly than I'd suggest you cut of all the "clear" runners away as well and not spray them.

thanks, so i can just finish it, then spray? and cover clear parts?
do you need to sand it afterward? or just a thin layer and wait for it to dry?

Anyone has a link to the review of SD Goutaitei Sonken? Or any other SD 3 Kingdoms in Japan.

Don't state the obvious. :D

Love how Harute is in an orange hue down there.

ZeddNL 2010-08-02 08:18

Nice boxart.

Anyway; my MG Exia's leg peg is really loose (I had it in a bit too much of an extreme pose and it fell wrecking the peg a little) it doesnt quite "stick" in the slot any more (hip/crotch joint)
I take it using a thin layer of glue is the best option?
