How do you want CC to end?
 

I haven't read the manga; meaning I don't know how that's ending up. I hope it ends similar to Romeo and Juilet. I don't want a crap last battle where Chrno beats Aion in kid form with a sword, I want an ending with meaning that will have an affect on me. That can be gained with Chrno killing Aion using his true power, Rosette dieng, and Chrno then killing himself to be with her.

I kinda mentioned this on another thread but I was hoping that in the case that something did happen to Rosette, maybe Satella could have made a contract with chrono, or maybe adult Azamaria could revive Chrono.

you should watch episode 22

CC is a dark sort of anime. I don't want some crappy happy ever after ending where "God", or someone holy revives Rosette if she dies (which she should, unless it's going to be a very poor last fight between Chrno and Aion...).

The Romeo & Juilet style ending has meaning. I want an ending with meaning, an ending that has an affect on me for once with an anime.

I don't know if I will like the romeo and juliet style ending but seems like that is the only sad but beautiful ending.

I believe chrno will transform back to his original form and he fight aion to the end.

The way things are going, it is entirely possible for Azmalia to be the only survivor of this ordeal. I foresee three possible ending scenes. EDIT -- Make that five, however these additional two may be a bit of a stretch.

1. Azmalia telling the tale to her children, grandchildren, or whatever.
2. Azmalia writing a book of the ordeal, how it changed her, and so on.
3. A miracle happens, everything returns to normal, and Rosette, Chrno, and everyone else still alive just live happily ever after. However stupid though it may be, this possibility is always there.

EDIT:
4. Nobody believes Azmalia's story -- at least, her recollection of the whole thing is not accepted -- and she is consigned to the nut house for life.
5. Expecting #4 if she talks, Azmalia carries the story to her grave.

The ending has been concluded in Chapter 56 of the Manga, but i don't know how Gonzo would go in the anime.

i hope it ends tragically.. those endings always make the anime one of the greatest ever no matter what.

I have read the manga upto Vol 3 and have upto Vol 6. Is it far away from the end? I hope there are not 10+ volumes.

8 will be the last volume, ending in Act 56

but since it *does* end. i hope it ends with sorta happy, sorta sad. like a couple of the main characters dieing/suffering, but then the rest coming out with new lessons and living happily forever. im a sucker who hates cliffhanger endings and rushed ones.

I hope the ending goes like this: Chrono & Rosette buy a casino in the vegas, and let everyone wins in the crap...that way everyone is happy and they will all live happily ever after...Good bless the Disney cartoon... :heh: ...

I think a finale for Chrno Crusade that could work best on the happy-tragedy level could be one reminiscent to the ending of the LOTR: Return of the King.
