Really liking the MG Spallow, it is one of the few AGE MS I really like.

But yea would have to find another weapon for it, that one little dinky knife isn't enough.

You could get "replacement" parts sent and dual wield the knives?

Another variant of it could help, but a single blade and those kneedles (needles that comes out from the knees) won't.

I think it's fine though. The Sparrow is a speed type like a ninja... minimal equipment, maximum speed & damage.

The very image of the MG Spallow you posted shows the Needle Guns on the knees.

hm, actually designing a second box is where the extra cost will come from.. printing cost is mostly the same whether or not they print a different design on it. the time taken to change the design, whether its a 5sec or hour job is still an extra cost. anyway making the kits in the 2 colour scheme is much more expensive than designing an extra box.

i really dont know which version of the AGE-1 i want anymore... the normal is a pretty plain RX-78-2 clone (which is both a good and a bad thing) but i like the rifle and the sparrow only has the tiny little knife but a great level of details like those needle guns... and i like blue >__>

Well, another MG to my long list of must-buy. I like it very much. The color scheme is almost all-blue and match the overall body. The design is so ninja-like which is very unique in Gundam universe. I’m totally okay with the minimal weapon the kit has. The lack of weapons/gimmicks will push the kit’s pose-ability to its maximum usage (Plus that two-fingers sticking out is very attractive for posing). Also, it’s cheap.

It's always nice to have extra options, like posing Spallow kneeing something vegan. I guess sharpening some waste sprue is easier.

I wonder if you can put a 1/144 beam in the MG Spallow's knees. :uhoh::heh:

MG Age-1 sparrow and titus are a waste of MG slots. they will be on sale at -50% for the rest of it's existence. They are not really appealing for MG builders in the long term, once the Age hype is over they will never get "out of stock" again.

While I agree with you on the Titus (lack of frame detail+not that good looking), but I think Spallow will remain somewhat popular. It's slick, unique-looking (in a good way) so yeah, that's a stayer..

While I agree on the lack of long term appeal a MG stating opinion as fact is a bad habit. :)

lol, looks like he CE era is a bit bygone these days. that aside, ive stopped some procrastination and ive nearly completed my SD blitz. need to matt the gloss and paint the bean saber pinkish.

ive also started to work on segments of my nebulat blitz to the original black color scheme. the purple and yellow parts are done. working on making the legs atm. i do have a question regarding paint compatability.

i have a tamiya white acryilic with 30% evaporated liquid (its old paint before unused). theres also humbrol mattwhite paint that dries up too darn fast in the can. ive given up on humbrol matt white and black for the same reason. im thinking of using up the remaining humbrol matt white. i dont know it the smooth gloss black humbrol will show texture differences under tamiya white vs humbrol matt white. would a smooth paint fill in the course texture? will the enamel eat away the acrylic paint much like mr. color on enamel? the matt white is a but coarse but also has a tendacy to go yellow after time. the gloss black willl be matted in the end. i'll just use a gloss white humbrol with a humbrol Matt cote for removing extra shine.

i dont think i'll end up swithing full time to tamiya as i have too many enamel and i only plan on getting 1/144 Quanta and that will be the end (hopefully) of the collection. i do have a repaint of 1/100 nebula blitz, 144 arios, 144 1.5 gundam and 144 quanta full saber kit left.

If you really have the bucks for MG . I can tell you MG wld cost at least 6000yen to 8000yen as is total of 4 suits together with the frames and accessories
(if you can afford it)

Some suits can't really be MGfied if you count The producing cost. Is unjusified
