Author : Kurodome Hagane Status : 68 WN chapters Length : 0.5 Million Japanese Characters Webnovel : Syosetsu Spoiler for Synopsis:
Spoiler for FAQ:
Probably the most fun novel I've read in awhile :heh: It is a wall of text though, and it's fine, I wish it were even longer :heh: |
Yeah I have read about it and yes it's quite funny to read
Spoiler:
By the way, there is someone translating the wn Novel Updates |
^Babaa :heh:
Oh yea, thanks, add to OP Mostly 5 stars review there too Garn mentioned this first in Syosetu thread but apparently he stopped before it becomes interesting :heh: I like modern day setting because it can go on without the pressure for harem or snusnu In isekai setting, they always emphasize the having a harem is very normal, or enslaving bishoujo is normal, or girl becomes adult at fucking 12 So when the MC is still being hetare, just can't help to ask, "What? You gay?" |
Something I find interesting about this is how the MC is the mastermind here instead of him working since usually in this kind of setting MC is working in secret for someone or gets involved into someone's else problem (although this is exactly what the MC hoped to happen to him)
I like to how while they end up becoming OP, they all start very weak and it's only with hard work that they can become stronger instead of being OP from the start. |
I know it's interesting but I guess lately I'm tired of that kind of protagonists, also it may be that everything starts on a small scale(the walls of text discourage me lol).
|
^What kind of protagonist is this in your opinion btw?
I like that Ireland and Japan became chaotic because of tourists and immigrants lol :heh: Dynamic tag cannot be rendered. (PrintableThread) |
Since that yaoi lover Nymene is here, then I'll tell you that this novel's MC has many male friends and they get a girlfriend too
|
Now that you made me think, I think that more than the protagonist was the combination of several points and "my own expectations".
To summarize it would be that almost everything is on a small scale (as far as I read) being this a problem (for me) when there are only walls of text. Spoiler for Some points:
In the end it is what I expected, a development and approach relatively oriented in the creation of the supposed organization and a more developed "plot". I think a bad example would be Samurai Flamenco (bad because it becomes chaotic in the second half) |
^Answers :
- It's already explained in chapter 1, after getting ESP but nothing is happening, he realized what he actually wanted is to be dragged into unordinary. Using ESP on normal people and being a kuzu is not his style. I see no problem on how he contacted Shiori since he already stalked her and know that she has Mahou Shoujo Syndrome :heh: - Cryptocurrencies, NGOs, donation programs? What is this? Fundraising? - The stalking selections were done in months. Touka was in broken home and Shouta is chuunibyou so they easily recruited Spoiler:
|
That's why the "simple".
-From here all my next point becomes useless (like my desire to read). Quote:
-All solved in almost 1 chapter Spoiler for About the Spoiler:
The novel is good and I may be putting it in a bad way being that it is slow (apparently) but in the end for me it is really simple, if the powers were at the level as in the anime of "Inou-Battle" (or a little more) would be understandable but in perspective, is like reading an Iseka with an MC who does not want to use his OP powers for not wanting to stand out and only fights with a few small groups (IRC, each arc adds only 3 characters, I think the 3 adds a little more, very few for even 1 organizatione). |

- Move capital? Is there any money in the first place? Where does the money come from? - 1 chapter of this is super long - Vava is the rorivava - Wanting to stand out in a world without any supernatural at all? He will be designated as the enemy of humanity right away Like that manga, Talentless Nana :heh: |
Quote:
-It is like an example, along with the previous point, there is no more involved beyond those that the MC or the author wants, the scale is always small. He can appear before people as a paranormal entity with an intermediary doll or other means and interact in this way (obviously all in secret and with supposed consequences to the contrary), but it is comedy and the MC is "too" normal in spite of having the powers, it will never happen or later, simply my own expectations betrayed me. |
^Jokes on you
Spoiler:
Btw, their methods of fundraising are : - Excavate rare-earth minerals from the seafloor and selling it - Spinning turbines in powerplants with unknown technology (telekinesis lol) These are done through a corporation they are connected with They also planned to grab asteroids from space and selling them |
I only remember about the turbines, the police and the yakuzas.
It's good, I doubt I'll read again without skipping parts (mainly text walls). |
^I skimmed the LN and it's shortened, go for that
Maybe if this gets a manga too it'll even be more compact I like the training explanations though, like when he's still weak, he loled on his own power and said that throwing thumbtacks does more damage than this shit :heh: |
Update boi~
|
Damn, chapter 1 is so long! But it's quite interesting, when will it have proper communication between characters?
I don't hate wn that only have monologue from mc tho' (like remonster). |
^When MC started to recruit Kaburagi
|
I see, in what chapter is that? 10s? 20s?
Btw about his power, will he eventually able to do these thing? 1. Transfer/lend/teach his power into other being 2. Ability to heal wound/deadly wound or regenerate lost body part 3. Prevent or cure disease 4. Fly 5. Teleport/party teleport/warp portal |
^Ch 3
