Anime Screenshot Captions

When I read this article on AnimeNewsnetwork, I thought it would be fun to
start making Anime Screenshot Captions thread on the forum for a good laugh.
Unfortunately I kind of forgot about it again until recently forum member animenrg
refreshed my memory by posting a similar thread.

That thread got quickly closed again by xris for being marked "forum game" (and
rightfully so), but of course exceptions can be made! So the same kind of thread is
here again, this time with some proper rules attached.

So what's the idea?

Basically you make a screenshot of a certain scene in an anime and make up a caption for it.
Of course the better the screenshot and the better the caption, the more fun!

For examples, just look at the images in this article.
I've attached a particular good example below (from PLANETES).

Any rules?

- Please resize the screenshot to about 320 pixels width. If that is
not possible, please use the [ URL ] tag instead of the [ IMG ] tag.

- If the screenshot you are posting contains spoilers, mark them clearly
and use the [ URL ] tag instead of the [ IMG ] tag!

- Please do not offend fans of the series with your captions! Although sarcasm is allowed.

- The pictures may not be altered! Do not submit "photoshopped" screenshots!
(although resizing, cropping and adding the caption text as part of the image is allowed)

- Mentioning what series the screenshot comes from is helpful as without this info
the joke may have less impact (example: Avenger caption in ANN article).

Help! How do I make screenshots and where to upload them?

- One video player that could be used to make screenshots is BSPlayer.

- A site where you could upload the images to would be www.uploadit.org

can we do manga? or just anime captions?

I would hate for the "Revival" spoofs to only stay in the revival.

Eh, well I guess manga "exceptions" can be made, though I think it'll be better if at
least most screenshots were from Anime...

Can I also request that screenshots are no wider than 320 pixels (and preferably in jpg format to cut down on file size). The examples above are fine.

If you must use larger screenshots, please use a [url] tag instead of a [img] tag.

I think it's best if there's a limit of 2 Anime Screenshot Captions per post displayed with [img] tags.

I don't mind there being more then one...but i think it should be "new" things created by the person posting, and not things originally posted in another thread
