My last RD figure was the Aile Strike Gundam and Tallgeese III. While the Aile Strike is a good figure, it's WAY too stylized. Doesn't really reflect the boxy design the anime version had.

I like the stylish look, i don't want a plump short gundam just because the anime versionwas drawn badly without any details. They just could have made the PG version in RD, that's the really perfect look strike :). Also teh fact that teh other RD weapons kits and strike rouge are limited exclusives drives me insane!!

It lacks details and paint apps, you can't even store the daggers in his sideskirt. For taht i guess i need to build thet RG of the PG model.

Yesterday i opened the Den' an gei, good looking but same defects, not enough paint and no weapon storage.

From all the RD i own and have opened i like the Bushido ahead the best, this weekend i'll open the really high exspectation guys like Unicorn destroy 2.0 and gouf custom.

The most dissapoint RD up till now is Arios gundam, nothing good about it.

mind showing us what s.f. and destiny look along side eachother? i found s.f. to be out of scale?!?! the Full Action Unicorn is great!

Wow. The AGE-2 Normal looks extremely badass. Hope to see it do melee attacks in Waverider mode with those awesome blade wings.

Anyway, can anyone spot where it stores its beam sabers?

HasuMasu 2011-12-16 08:20

From what I can tell, the back-skirts.

Extra red feet parts in the Age-2 A plate.

@Duotiga thanks for sharing! im just reluctant to buy destiny if the size difference is great compared to Strike freedom

on a side note i hope they reproduce the unicorn unicorn mode to match the size difference!

the only worry for RD destiny is that the stand holder is rather flimsy, is a 2 pin rather than the standard 4pin to the backpack :uhoh:
other than that the figure is nice to play with:eyespin:

Well, that's unusual :twitch: But it's cool, that we get the option :)

I'll choose the blue ones. Just to give it more dominant color.

Is it just me or does the AGE-2 Normal look awfully similar to the Wing Gundam?

in my opinion its a clusterfuck of multiple gundam designs :P i see the wing zero, the OO raiser (the sidebinder thingies and the rifle), the RX-78-2 (probably because it looks a lot like the AGE-1 which does look like the grand daddy gundam), maybe even a few hints of the zeta here and there.
thats probably why im no fan of the design. it looks like a big mess that doesnt know what exactly it wants to be! XD

Is it just me, or Banshee's arms that holding those weapon looks too thin?

kakakka 2011-12-16 15:30

Or the weapons are just larger.

Appel 2011-12-16 15:46

thats a pretty awesome "scratch build"! but i agreem the weapons turned out a little too big. but then again, the bigger the gun, the more awesome it is! :D

Robot Damashii AGE Gundam and Gafran are out today, here is a review of the Gundam.

I am NOT liking those hand joints, a side ways ball and socket connector? What good is that supposed to do?
