It's true, it really is rather easy to fix the funnels. And if you can't have all twlve on the back just put some on the stand!^^ They finally gave us a great stand that can actually hold funnels well, might as well use that :D

Photoshop is a great thing, isn't it?^^ I just took two shots of it, one with funnels and one without, put them on top of each other and earased the parts that I didn't want. You can do all sorts of crazy stuff with this! :D
I still had some chrome paint (for the base coat), some red and some top coat kicking around. My Hi-Nu has a black base, I wanted to mix things up a little. Plus, I saw that Jabman on youtube did it as well and I thought it looks great! But hey, personal preferences and all that^^
And no, I won't get the extra funnel set. Mainly because I don't want to build 6 funnels again XD That SUCKED! XD Also, they will probably be rather expensive.

I'm usually not a fan of this dark blue but I think on the Nu it really does work well! :D

Nice work on your Nu, Appel! I agree with Obelisk, I think it looks better without decals. I was staring at it and wondering why it looked so familiar - then I realized I have my RD Nu in the exact same pose! :heh: Even the 3 funnels on the shoulder are arranged in the same staggered manner.

EDIT: I think I've asked this before, but back then I was using a file. Recently I got a polishing/sandpaper stick to remove nubs on my kits. Is there a proper way to sand without getting "collateral damage" on the areas around the nub?

Use sandpaper that is as fine as possible. Using wet sandpaper should help as well as far as I know.
Personally I just usea hobbyknife :P

Just finished building the high grade Ghirarga from Gundam Age. Really nice kit, almost entirely molded in the right colours and only a few stickers, I only have one problem with it. The spear. In a kit where they had an entire plate with lime green translucent plastic was using some stickers for the shiny green tips of the spear truly necessary? Couldn't they have found a way to make them fit on the black parts of the spear?

It's a minor complaint, but it just takes the shine off of an otherwise amazing kit, and wouldn't be a problem for a painter. But as for the suit itself, I built the Qant the other day and this was even more surprising than that was in terms of how many things are molded in parts now. The entire suit was in colour and the only stickers needed were on the chest jewel and the eye line, and the thing is completely accurate to the show. Great stuff, love the kit.

The numbers are the HG # from the HG 00 line.

The Season 2 00 HGs are amazing articulation-wise. But you wlil have to paint some parts like the condensers for the Gundams.

I know that much, but am I going overboard or should I go for this? LOL
Of course I'm not going to order them all at once unless GG Infinite has some big sale or they can give me a nice price and all, but I think eventually I will get them all.

My "painting" skills are much better now and I'm much better at applying the stickers.

And given that Gundam 00 is my first series that really got me hooked on Gundam and GunPla, I was thinking about going all out.

Then there's the whole thing with Wing being my first love of Gundam but I think I'll stick with just MG Endless Waltz kits and newer (so none of those 1/144 HG or 1/100 HG).

Age.. I think I'll stick strictly to MG unless they decide to screw us over and not release MG versions of Special Force Age-2 Normal, Age-2 Double Bullet, Age-3 Orbital & Fortress, Age-FX, Age-1 Gransa since what we do know is that Age-3 and Age-FX MG's are being made.

That much in one go? That's not very wise. Way below impulse buying.

LOL Well if I can get a great deal on them sure. But more than likely I probably won't. But then again, a few months ago, I did splurge over $200 on getting the MG 00 Raiser Trans Am. =D

Leads? Are you for real? If thats the case all you need are the Astraea line of descent mobile suits, you just more or less put down every gundam unit they ever made in HG excluding the Trans-Am versions

And dont you have a MG wishlist already? Where are you gonna get the cash for all of this stuff?

^ Badass cover even though it’s a big "no-buy" for me. IMO Perfect Strike will get another release beside HG. This kit will probably be more appealing to newcomers and those who like to customize their HGs.

Agreed. HG Strike looks goofy, plus all that grey plastic is a major turnoff.

No buy. No one should buy this. Lazy rehash. They didn't even remold the kit, and Seed HG's are known for being horribly disproportionate.

It's very interesting that he didn't put the Wing EW MG with this set. Maybe he has some insider info on a remastered version of MG Wing EW coming later?
