Well, the screws for mine fit perfectly, glad Bandai added another spare incase I dropped one. And, there are other kits with the kind of wrist (or better) like the Nu Gundam.

Oh, and I don't think technology has anything to do with making kits. My MG Sentinel came out 2002, and it has rotating legs. But my MG Rick Dias came out 2 years later, and for something this chunky you'd think they'd make it with legs that can rotate. So yeah, it's all up to the model designer, not the tech, that can make a kit like so. And if I remember correctly, Buster was the only one of the 5 to have rotating legs. Again, tech not an issue, I guess it was the model designer who did so.

My dear, sweet Kaempfer...what have those bastards at Bandai done to you? :(

Super deformed horror! >_<

So, I can't get Gunota to load right now, but earlier this morning I noticed that among the March Gunpla releases, we have the Oowashi Akatsuki and a Titans-color MG Mk-II 2.0. For once reuses of the mold that actually make sense...

Hmm, for some reason I was expecting something else than the Titans MK-II.. like The O. Oh well, it was only a matter of time before they released a Titans version. But I'm sick of nonstop Zeta MGs Bandai, can we have something different now? (Like Gundam X or GSD ones.. :D )

Komataguri 2006-01-31 19:42

Not a gundam model, but since no one has given Eureka Seven its own subforum yet, and there is no general anime-related hobbies forum..

I just ordered teh Nirvash Spec 2 today from HLJ, along with a transmodel TerminusR606.

But damn, that is gonna come out to be almost 50 bucks, probably...Damn international shipping.

The O is likely to come out AFTER the 3rd Zeta movie... Any sooner and it just wouldn't make sense as none of the new gunpla buying audience the film has gathered would know what it is!... :heh:

Also, many are predicting that we've seen the last of any 1/100 GSD Mecha (the HG/NG line dried up ages ago and the 1/144 releases seem to be petering out) and a Gundam X or V Gundam line is even less likely, given how both series were essentially ratings failures (ok, V Gundam was watched, enjoyed and finished but Tomino slammed it and it's not even recieved a proper DVD release in Japan!)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't the 3rd movie open in March? Perfect timing to release both at the same time. :)

In any case, I'm guessing that The O will be released in April.. hopefully May will bring something non-Zeta. Don't get me wrong, I loved Zeta, and the Version 2.0s are quite nice. But I really couldn't care less about the banana colored Hyaku Shiki, the ugly Nemo, or the Titans Mk.II which is missing the display base. Not a huge fan of The O either, but it'll be nice to pose it with Zeta Gundam. :D

By the time they finish up GSD releases they'll probably start doing more Seed(-D) MSV units, which should tide them over until the new series this October. Besides, we haven't seen any Seed-D MGs yet, and I think it was popular enough to warrant at least one or two.

An MG The O will certainly be interesting.

DarkWarrior 2006-02-01 19:44

MG Saviour! >_> I'll even settle for a 1/100 one.. please Bandai!

Yes, I meant that one. I just see the word sentinel so much I call my S-Gundam that. It sounds cool too.

By the way, I bought the 1/60 Lightning Edition Strike Freedom. I already built it, and I immediately thought of modding it into a Master Grade version. The first thing that really made me believe it's possible, Bandai sure left me a heck of alot of spare polycaps for this kit. I find that oddly funny lol. 17 spare polycaps, I bet this is the total amount from all my other kits with spares combined lol :heh: The points of interest are the wrists, ankles, elbows and the thighs. I might start the MG work later and post pictures if I'm not too busy, I also got some Pia Carrot trading figures, it's funny posing them with this hilariously large Strike Freedom.

The goal I wish to accomplish is making this Strike Freedom be able to still light up despite the heavy modification I plan to do. I'm really eager to start working on it, and although I may be crazy cutting up a 9,489 Yen model, I'll need to plan ahead on my computers as to which peices to work on and where to start. I hope to accomplish this :)

Are they releasing a Akatsuki now? o_O

Seems like it borrows alot from the Hyaku Shiki.

not really, it's mainly just the GOLD and the charactor on the shoulder.

Sety 2006-02-02 09:55

Well I meant that one makes it look alot like a modified version of the Hyaku Shiki, I'm thinking it might be similar to build.

Nesty 2006-02-02 10:04

too bad the akatsuki will only be in hg 1/144 form T_T i really wanted both ijustice and akatsuki to be 1/100

Sety 2006-02-02 10:07

The original 3 EA druggy Gundams deserve 1/100 before IJustice and Akatsuki :_:

Speaking of which, does anyone know if there might have been any attempts at making a kitbash of Calamity, Forbidden or Raider?

Rushuna 2006-02-02 12:28

Over the years, I've built most of the Wing 1/144 LG and HG kits, Gundam X and Double X LGs, SEED 1/100 Freedom, Destiny, and Providence kits, and owned an army of UC and AU MSiAs.

This is what remains of my entire collection now:

JanthraX^ 2006-02-02 12:37

Is it me or does the Head seem really out of proportion on that model

Also (offtopic) last pic LACUS BOOB!

@mangatron good luck with modification make sure to post some pics= D
