I just ordered a 1/144 HG Zaku Gunner and 1/144 FG Buster Gundam. Yeah, look at my nick. I am a Dearka freak :heh:

Also, pre-ordered the Transam Dynames and waiting for Gadessa restock. Christmas day again, folks! :]

ah?..why did you interested in FG Buster when you already got HG Buster ??...

I'm not a Dearka fans, But I'm a Big fan of Verde Buster (Previously Buster before the Verde Buster introduced):D...

As an aside, I saw an article about the Entropa public art piece, and the author of the article referred to it as like an Airfix kit...

...while I first thought of a Gundam model kit!

Funny how the mind works, eh.

Oh, and I like how the Ahead comes with a pair of kill-bots - although as it happens, they are the only two pieces I've even cut from the frames yet!

I must be slipping...

Its no longer a katana, a katana must be curved because of cooling from the final heating process which the katana bends from the rapidly cooling layers of steel.

That's because the phrase "Gerbera Straight" is a literal mistranslation of the "Kiku-ichimonji" (菊一文字).

Damn Fukuda for his Engrish.

C.A. 2009-01-16 22:11

What? LOL

I didn't know that. It would have also been cooler if its called Kikuichimonji.

While the ichimonji stroke is a horizontal straight slash, pointing to the quality of the blade, being able to slay in a single stroke. I didn't know Gerbera is the genus name for the sunflower, chrysanthemum family.

Damned translations.

I already got the HG Buster, but I did NOT have the FG Buster. And I am a huge Dearka/Buster fan. Just add one to one and you'll get it why I bought so much stuff. Now... Just let me see where was this Petit club Dearka... <searches through ebay>

Ah, judging from the pics, PG Astray's blade is still slightly curved. Damn... But I'd rather buy a PG Strike with PG Skygrasper beforehand. It means so much more to me as a fan of the first SEED ;)

Quick question... Has anyone built the MG Turn A? I've been thinking about getting it for a while, but I already have the basic 1/100, and I wouldn't mind knowing if it's worth the purchase?

Yes, its a wonderful model.

I was so satisfied with the model that I posted a review here last time:

I think I sounded crazy back then, probably too happy with the figure.

As to quote a badass movie character:
"Do you feel lucky, punk? Well, do you?!"

That's a very cool "yo'-ass-is-grass"-pose Seraphim is pulling off there.
I like Seraphim's slender legs very much, and they make his want factor all the more higher.

MakubeX2 2009-01-17 20:52

The HCM Pro Seraphim isn't that good overall when you taken in the consieration that you need to put the head on and replace the shoulder cannon with arms to transform from Backpack mode to MS mode.

Let see if the HG fare better.

Is the robot damashii Seravee worth considering?

The same deal, head and arms needed to be placed on for Seraphim MS mode.

vektar 2009-01-17 21:54

so whats the main difference between HCM pro and Damashii?

GN0010 Nosferatu 2009-01-17 21:58

HCM-Pro is basically already built model kits. Robot Damashii is an improvement over MSIA. The Damashii figures are built to be played with.

Also, HCM-Pro is built in 1/200 scale and Robot Damashii is around the scale of 1/144. But series cost around the same price, but HCM Pro have greater articulations.

i'm not really like HCM-Pro though. Bandai seems more focus on releasing this and robot damashii now. I'm actually hate the color detail of both lines....
