Looks great, the Mg Qan-T! It's amazing how one pic would change people's moods from depressive to euphorical :D

Me too!

Not 00Q.

SonicSP 2010-10-08 12:03

Definitely getting the MG 00Q, simply because I don't get MGs very often. I've only have one.

Desperately waiting for MG 00R, but this will have to do for now. It has less potential for problems for one.

JC... 2010-10-08 12:31

I see there's alot of 00Q fans here.. To be honest I think the design is crap.

SonicSP 2010-10-08 12:34

I'm starting to like it as much as 00R, thought not yet. The HG is doing something to me everyday though.

Still, mostly fond of it when the shield is at the back and opened up to reveal the 2nd Drive and with the Sword Bits in flying remotely (which is how I pose my HG). Surprisingly getting fond at the asymmetry as well (did not think I'd like it), though I'm wishing they applied it a bit more on the legs and the head; which are still symmetrical in the design.

after seeing the image, I wasted no time to PO 00 Qant[T] on kaskus. Qan[T] is just sooo awesome ><

What about the design do you not like?

I can see a lot of things that's undesirable on the 00Q. The asymmetry, the shield binder, the lack of the "majestic" I AM KING!!! feeling that 00 Raiser emanates. The blue kneecaps.

====================

For some reason however, I have fallen in love with it over time. The HG is doing something to me. The lineart and basic pose just looks ordinary to me just like 00's but.............in some degrees it's the coolest thing ever.

I'm not too big on the Bit design however, save for the largest one. I love using it as a sword for my HG 00Q.

pikachuwei 2010-10-08 16:59

^haha i dont really sense a I AM KING vibe from 00 raiser. In the end its still just a gundam with a plane attached to the back. the plane bit ruins it all for me really. If they just kept the binders...

Qan[T] has a "knight" look that i like.

If u wanted to go for I AM KING imo Reborns gundam is the best, being basically 00 version of Hi nu. Ofc some people dont dig the high heels :heh:

Sir Dearka 2010-10-08 17:00

If Qan-T had Exia's sword, I'd definitely call it a must-have :] I am praying for the MG Astraea Type F, though :]

GN0010 Nosferatu 2010-10-08 17:18

I'd actually love to get the MG 00Q myself...But I don't wanna waste 6 years trying to build it.

And I emphasis "try".

So you're not very good with models?

Pfffffft fuck no. Robot Damashii figures till the end for me.

Rising Dragon 2010-10-08 18:49

I should try my hand at modeling again. My first and last attempts were with old 1/144 Gundam Wing and Gundam X models, which are likely not the best to start out with.

I have to agree that there IS something about the HG model... One can't really understand what we're talking about unless you own the HG model yourself. They really got everything right with this model (except for the wrist, but hey its only a HG).

I admit though, the OOQ design and concept doesnt really boast the 'ultimate' and 'grand' vibe that you'd get from say, OOR, SF, Zero Custom, etc. but there's something about the OOQ design that although it looks nothing but an upgraded Exia to the eyes of the majority, you look at it more closely and makes you think, "there's something hax about this robot that i dont know about, isnt there?" which is the vibe I get from looking at what I originally thought was a very plain and basic design.

The other thing that gets me though, but to me it seems very reminiscent of the Nu Gundam, which is for a long time, what I considered to be one of the 'ultimates'. It has 6 remote weapons that can be used as powerful shields and are stored on the left side of the frame, has breakthrough technology (e.g Psyco frame, Quantum system, etc.), piloted by the main character who has hax abilities, and does a very epic thing in the end to save humanity - all this packed into a very simple and plain robot design. Oh and they both seem to have some sort of alternate versions that have a wing-like configuration for its remote weapons.

Overall though, I am seriously hoping they come with some sort of special ed of the kit with both display parts for the sword bits as well as beam effects for the Trans-Am sword (or I wouldnt mind if they save this for the Trans-Am version of the kit). I don't care even if they were as sloppy as those wires you get from SF Full Burst, at least give us something for us who are too lazy to make our own wiring to display remote weapons.

I wouldn't know. My first model was an HG 1/100 Wing Zero.

One of mine was a Wing Zero as well, but it and the rest of the models were fragile as hell, and I couldn't pose them worth a damn. Wing binder casings kept falling off, the shield kept slipping, and the Buster Rifle wouldn't hold together. It was a nightmare.

I just put it in Neo-Bird Mode and set it on a shelf.:heh:
