Starved for entertainment and bored out of their minds, pagan gods came down to medieval earth and started Familias. These gods would grant the human members of their Familia Grace, granting them [Status], basically game stats, in exchange for tributes and luxuries. These adventurers make a living killing monsters in Dungeons with each monster they defeat granting them Excelia (EXP), which only gods can see. Gods can also perform a [Status Update] where they can make changes and improvements to the Status using Excelia. (Note: Gods have sworn off use of their divine powers when they come down to earth and conveniently some of these gods which should be male are female.)
Our story follows young Bell, a rookie adventurer, who gets his but saved by Sword Princess Aizu Wallenstein in the Dungeon. It's love at first sight and so he swears to climb the ranks so that he can one day stand beside her. He is the only member of his Familia led by Hestia, a rookie, big-chested, loli goddess.

Gods don't fight just so you know since it would spoil all their fun if they could use their godly powers.
All adventurers have [Status], which as I said grants them stats similar to the ones you find in RPGs. There are stats for strength, speed, dexterity, magic, etc. These stats all start at I-0 and the number increases until 99, at which point the adventurer ranks up and the letter changes to H. So it progresses from I0-I99, H100-199, G200-G299 and so on until A, S, and SS, which is the highest. All adventurers start at Level 1 and you can only level up if you perform an action favored by the gods such as defeating an evil boss monster or something. However, when you level up, all your stats reset to I-0, but the stats are also powered up depending on what they were before the level up. So it's much more advantageous to max out your current stats before leveling up.
They can also develop their own skills. Some are common, but there are unique skills, which will have gods chasing you from one end of town to the next.
The Dungeon, a place where monsters mysteriously spawn completely skipping adolescence and right into adulthood. If you've ever watched or read Air Gear, think the real Trophaeum Tower and SAO. There are floors, which are designated as levels with the higher the level the deeper down you are and the harder the monsters with a boss monster guarding the door to the next floor.

Is the art on the OP the manga's? I didn't know that. Honestly I just prefer art styles like the ones in Daimaou, Seikoku no Ryuu Kishi or Mondaiji. Anyway what's the MC like? Does he start out weak and become strong, is he outclassed by the enemies physically but uses his head & so-so powers/skills/stand or familiar to beat them or is he just OP as fuck? And about the female "God" is she like the ones in Campione where they are crazy strong? Is she a lesser god that is just really strong vs humans but is super-duper weak compared to other "gods" or is "god" just some way of hyping up a group of people she belongs to? Finally, what are they like personality-wise?

2)Gods use adventurers as toys to pass time with, some get fond of the "toys" , others not, others will try to steal high quality toys. They are the one who give skills to adventurers when they lvl up writing some sort of runes on their bodies.
3)MC starts as weak but eventually starts to get strong really fast because of his skill which increases exp and stats the more he is focused on getting his girl(which is an elite and member of an important guild while MC starts alone in his guild)
4) MC uses wisely his strenght(even if he fights enemies stronger then him he manages to defeat them)
5) MC has a harem master charisma
6)Stats go from about 0 to about SS999 until adventurer levels up and begins again from 0.With lvl up adventurer gets new skill(chosen from a set of 3)

Is this really a novel? It sounds like a game. A very very interesting one...

i suggest you start reading scanlated manga. It is quite nice.It is starting a little slow but from what i got on the spoilers(you can find them on jcafe ) it should start to speed up in about 2 ch.

We got a naive and kind-hearted protagonist, but don't mistake him for a wimp. He's got skills and determination with a spine to boot. He wakes up one morning to find his huge-chested, loli sleeping on his chest, he blushes and slowly puts her down and sneaks out. When he got his ass saved by the main heroine and the minotaur's blood splattered all over him, he didn't even think about taking a shower and went straight to his guild to request information on her.

Well, most of this information could've been deduced from the scanlated manga, but I don't think you can put up spoilers that came from the novel unless its been translated.

In any case, here are some extra details about what happens after the scanlated manga chapter courtesy of faz from Jcafe.

Seems like 9 monsters in that monster feriae escape and a lv 11 silverback chase shestia. Bell takes her and runs since he can't beat it (his strength is currently on the lv 6 floor). He leaves her somewhere and plays decoy to save her. He gets cornered and fights for his live, but still loses. Hestia chased after him and saves him just in time. She updates his status and gives him the knife, which is a growth type weapon and powers up alongside Bell. His new stats (Power: G 221 to E 403, Endurance: H 101 to H199, Dexterous: G 232 to E 412, Agility : F 313 to D 521, Magic I0). He still has a tough fight, but he can at least keep up. Then he remembers Eina's lecture about weak points and he aims there to win. It seems Aizu took part in cleaning up the other monsters and when she gets there she heard from people that Bell already beat the silverback. Seems like he manage to leave some kind of impression on her. Hestia collapses so Bell brings her to the tavern where Seal works and she says that Hestia is just overwork. They flirt a bit until Hestia wakes up and it turns out she overworked because she begged Hephaestus for the knife. This is when Bell realizes that the knife has Hephaestus' seal on it. The epilogue is a flashback to when Bell first meets Hestia after having been rejected by all the guilds he tried to join. Hestia offer to create one and asks for the reason he wants to become an adventurer. He said his grandfather always taught him - harem saiko.
