Wait, since when did the GNHW Seravee come with a GN beam pistole?

While we did not see this in the anime,we've known this for awhile now, there was a short mention of it in the mecha/weapons topic not too long ago.

I've read info at the invisionfree forums where it seems that its the same or similar GN Machinegun from SEMs.Makes sense to since that was the original GNHW for Seravee.

The Machinegun is mainly for Seraphim, makes sense too since the Seraphim lacks any lightweight weapons;otherwise it will be limited to GN Bazooka IIs or its GN-Cannon hands, both of which are high particle consumption. The GN-Machinegun would be more economical weapon,if its anything like Nadleeh,it will have low particle storage capacity without Seravee attached, and using lower consumption weapon would be the better choice if there is no need for heavy power.

Because :-

It's not 2nd L in the first place, but 2nd R. Like, if there's a new variant to Red and fans react postivly to the design, I'm sure Bandai will see a worthwhile investment.

Question regarding the toxic fumes from the paint.

How harmful are those toxic paint fumes to house pets?I mean, they can be harmful even to humans but to what degree are they acceptable in a house with pets before their it may seriously affect their health (the pets that is)?

Are they like super dangerous even in small amounts or are their dangerous only in escessive amounts to pets?I'm new to Gunpla painting and I have pets in my house [specifically cats] ,so I am trying to get an idea here of what the situation is.

The smaller the animal, the more harmful the effect, I believe.
(Best to wait for a better answer from another poster, but)

Try opening windows/ doing in a seperate room, away from pets.

That is true. The smaller the animal the more acceptable their lungs are to the fumes. Like most people try spraying/brushing your kits with either windows or in a well ventilated location! And depending on what sort of paint you are using, either enamel or acrylic with have different effects on your environment.

Hope that helps...

Yeah as stated above it really depends on the paints you use. I know testors has a lot stronger odder then Tamiya bottle paints. I mainly use Tamiya when i hand brush because it pretty much has a alcohol smell to it, which isnt to bad to do indoors but keep a fan on and open a window. I also use tamiya spray paints but i do all that out side because that will smell up your house for days.

Doesn't look so bad, SEED has some good designs hidden in there (Providence Gundam), but I'll stick that Unicorn.

Jiang Wei F91. Interesting gimmick we have there for switching between Zaku and Gundam mode.

Which suit the face changing state of the F91 as well as in real historical context of how the real Jiang Wei defect from the villanous camp of Wei to the heroic side of Shu.

Doesn't help that aside from more panels, the body proportion remains more or less from previously released kits. What we need now is a shot of the real deal, not more concept art.

Patriot's Blade 2009-08-25 02:09

it looks so much better than its tv concept art counterpart,
well, it would be a total headache if the animators actually animate that version of the 00 while its moving at high speeds :heh:

Main reason why I nitpicked about OO's body proportion is that everything look so disjointed and top heavy after it joins with the Raiser.

Only reason why there'a nary a complain about the disproportion in the anime is as you said, everything is a blur and nobody takes notice. But a model kit is stationary and sooner or later, it will become an eyesore when all the action is faded from memory.

Don't be hooked by Bandai's early attempt of a marketing gimmick.

http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/8190/pgastray02.jpg
As demonstrated by the example here. Do the final product resemble anything like the early linearts ?

Ardi220288 2009-08-25 08:42

LOL I definitely won't expect it to be exactly resemble the lineart but it definitely rise the expectation of the real model. nothing wrong with that isn't it?

Like I said, it's much too early to pass judgement on a product just by looking at a concept sketch. We need to see at least a uncoloured prototype.

I'm hoping they streamlined the Raiser myself just so the PG OO-Raiser will be Exia-thin instead of being a steroid-infested mecha.

Regardless of how the final product turns out, this lineart is a pretty cool on its own.I'm already way happy with my HG 00,though I will consider getting this, depending on how it turns out.Not that big of a fan of larger scales but its 00,so hopefully it will be worth a buy, though I'm looking forward to the MG more than the PG.

But the 1/100 has gotten me worried however, especially with its weight problems and lack of torso movement,we'll see I guess.

Rising Dragon 2009-08-25 15:57

I wouldn't mind seeing that lineart colored.

As mentioned earlier, it more or less the same as Ebikawa's lineart. Except with more panelings.

Very nice. Thanks for fulfilling my request.

I need some help regarding HG Arios

I'm having some trouble transforming with the HG Arios. You know the Vertical Fin that's suppose to point upwards in Flight Mode? [It's the same as the triangular fin that most aeroplanes have;the one that point upwards] I can't get it into the flight position, where its suppose to point upwards.

It seems that I can never make it stick that way.......and not let the thing fall down. The instruction manual is not much help visually either, though they are a set of words there,so I wonder if that has anything to do with the correct method?

I've checked out Dalong, and they have a visual How to Transform guide as well, but that is no help either. Can anybody explain to me the correct way of posstioning the Vertical Fin?

The part thats suppose to connect the Flight Arios to the stand is not that strong either, but I think it was never meant to be,unless I'm doing something wrong with that one as well, but that is a smaller problem,I'm more concerned with the Vertical Fin at the moment.

Any help or advice given is appreciated.

Nerroth 2009-08-26 16:18

Oh, I so want that figure. Badly.

Do you mean the orange "fins" on the shoulders of Arios?

Alright. This pretty much cement the deal for me. The gogrgeous look in it's unpainted state, the bulkiness of it all, the moveable mono eye and how they allowed the binders to be locked into place. 4500 yen is just about the right price for all of it.

i did the pg wing custom, and it has many small parts and it took me a month to finish it (i was slacking on building it :heh:), but building a unpainted one would set you around a week ;)

I also have the HG Arios, and I've never had a problem with that part. While the part does tend to "stick" in it's position on the crotch at first, a little more force will usually put it in the proper position without breaking it due to it's design. It's most likely that you didn't put it in properly - the joint that attaches it to the Arios' crotch should "click" and be freely movable.

And yes, the flight mode stand isn't really strong, but it should be stable enough to pose the Arios with no problems at all, unless you're custom modding the Arios or something.

If it didn't have so many small parts, it'd be a large MG. So yeah, PG's have like 500 parts. Having others to help with the model speeds things up considerably.

I agree man. I'm getting it for the same exact reasons as you are. I think overall, this mobile suit is the epitome of sexy. I also want to get the HG Unicorn Destroy Mode just for the heck of it.

Now I'm contemplating whether to get a PG 00 Raiser or just wait for the MG version. I seriously don't want to pay 200+ along with the hefty shipping rate. Hell no.

my f91's left cannon broke, so i decided the turn the whole suit battle damaged
it's my first time, i used the needle+fire technique, pure burning (xD), x-acto knife, and weathering masters, feel free to give comments, if you look closely, especially the left leg, you can see the burn damages, i burned the left arm too
