Iam plannng to buy a G-Gundam next week since it's pay day LOL
May I just ask what's the best God gundam model kit out there? Iam also planning to buy a Turn A since these two are my favs. |
Has anybody gotten the MG Hi-Nu? Is the defective part that Dalong pointed out an isolated problem with his kit, or is it in every Hi-Nu?

Bandai Press Release.
Model RX-78 Gundam made in 1,400g of PURE Pt1000 Platinum and diamonds on the headpiece was created for a show. Cost estimated at $250,000. Yeah, instead of Pla-model's "Pla" being plastic, it's PLATINUM. :heh: ZOMG... http://www.bandai.co.jp/releases/images/2/37190.jpg |
so can we expect Paris Hilton showing off her new shiny(?) toy soon? ^__^

With such a silhouette, there's no guessing what the 100th MG will be...... |

ok so im new, and i like gundams, i recently got a wing zero gundam, as my dad went to hk, and was checking the net, i really want a perfect grade gundam, anyone able to buy in hk or china and post from there, will pay?
btw which is better, hight grade or master grade? and also, the perfect grades whats involved in constucting them, is it like the master grade, or do you need paint and glue and what not?? help |
silver really platinum lol and gold wow! What's next black and trasparent editions? that would be cool.

mastergrade is better that highergrade perfect grade is like mastergrades, but bigger and are the ultimate in detail, and they don't require glue or paint, but you can paint them if you want to |

But that pose looked a lot like MAHQ.net's for the RX-78-3, though... :) |

and honestly, notworth the money...its just a giant toy cuz everything is done for you. At least with MGs there is still some stuff left topaint...not so in PGs cuz Bandai moulds everything in colour |

this is the one i was thinking of getting, for $200 i could get around 4 MG's couldnt i? not really into painting things, dont have the skill or time |
Well, even with MGs you can choose not to paint anything, just some finishing touches here and there.
This coming from someone who never paints his MG kits (but does partial painting with his HGUC GM Quel). |

Dammit, Bandai, are you waiting for me to get run over by a semi-trailer before you release an F90 Master Grade...? |

Looking back, BD didn't realeased a RX-78-2 Ver 2.0 before. Of course, They did release a RX-78-2 Ver 1.5....
Let us await what gimmicks they'll pulled with a RX-78-2 Ver 2.0. |
where is MG Full Armour Mk II???
|
Perfect grade is very much different from mastergrade. They are not just bigger version. They have a lot more engineering design and parts involved.

And what of that "not so in PG's(stuff to paint)"? Look at my PG Zaku! It's not even fully painted and I like it. And let me remind everyone it comes with a very purple Heat Hawk. As in, you have to very paint it yourself :heh: Here I thought not everyone has time to paint... and lol...I got my PG Zaku for $80 with overnight delivery....RX-78-2 $95 for 2 day service, and PG Wing Zero for $130 with 2 day as well....:heh: And of course, the last PG designed was back in 2004 I believe...engineering has grown very much since then. Aha, they don't have to make the size 1/100. Why not make it a 1/72 scale? :heh: :heh: |
Finished building my Dawn 1/100:
Dawn equipped with Oowashi: Spoiler:

damn subie, that thing looks hot. Does anyone know if the stand comes standard or is it just first edition thing again? I'm talking about the Akatsuki, btw.

cool thanks guys
btw that gundam looks awesome |

Not that you won't be able to buy it more cheaply, but still, that's high for an action figure, IMHO. |
Nah, the 1/100 GFF Metal Composite are a lot higher.

So, in the meantime you can send your vote to Bandai about V2 :D |
i have another question, whats better im your guys opinion, to buy a MG 1\100 or to buy the cheap 1\60 scale, the standard ones, not PG
|
Get yourself a MG 1/100, since they typically have better features and detail than the 1/60s.

Taking accounts into the time needed for designing a model kits as well as making the master mould of it, I believe that BD had already planned the 100th MG way ahead of us. And my guess is the RX-78-2 Ver 2.0
What they are doing now is making a survey as a reference to future releases. |
Just completed my Hi-Nu. A real master piece. Well worth the price. It is beautiful...the articulation is great, detail is great, everything is great.............
Except that the Fin Funnels don't really attach to Hi-Nu's back firmly. They always fall easily.... |
I just finished building my MG Gundam Noir Striker Omni Enforcer .
Spoiler:
Damn coolest gundam ive ever assembled. I wonder its twin beam rifles+grenade launcher. How would it do in actuall combat. I hope that there is a gundam stargazer game in developement. |
lol you guys talk about gundam as though they are real.
btw, any painting done to that gundam Noir? |
