Episode 1:
That was beautiful. Spoiler:
|
This is literally BONES. The animation, music and backgrounds are amazing and the characters too.
kujou is beautiful and that scene under the tree was so perfect but the only thing I didn't like it was the mc, he's so annoying. Anyways, really looking forward for the next week. |
Ep 01
An excellent premier - lovely visuals, a delightful ost, great VA work (Sakurako's was especially good) and an engaging storyline introduction. I like the dynamics between the two leads as well. Yep, seems a winner in many ways ... hopefully they can keep this up for the rest of the series. ^^ |
Bones are sexy. So fuckin sexy. Thank you, Sakurako. :3
Really liked the first episode. That scene when she put on the gloves.....ooooooooo boi. that was a beautiful scene. |
Oh my god.... i already fall in love with the atmosphere already......sakurako-san is interesting fellow, i thought she will be a dominant one but the main character has a interesting character (with his constantly craving for a shrimp fest, it's funny) who has a function to be a breaker for sakurako-san.
i really like their relationship...not a lover, not a friend......feels like sherlock and watson....... definitely will follow this.... |

That was something that was not as clear to me either ... the premise did state that, but the way Shotaro mused about it to himself kinda left a vague feeling in his mind (at least as far as I could tell). There was also mention of Sakurako having a fiance "officially".
Maybe this will become clearer as time goes on? They certainly have a degree of trust and closeness to be able to harass each other the way they do, though. Kinda nice to see. ^^ Itou Shizuka really nailed the Sakurako role though ... man. |

but no...i didn't feel that it will go that way....a romance one.....it feel a novelic vague "partner in crime" relationship....and i love it....and hope it'll keep that way |
Ill wait till this show is over to watch it because it feels like its going to have a lot of love triangle crap in it.

Great start. Looked good (except maybe for some of the early 3DCG). Lovely atmosphere. Story in service of atmosphere (and vice-versa). Interesting relationship: I think it may develop into an agreeably strange kind of romance. Sakurako-san doesn't seem like she's going to settle down with a fiancé any time soon. I look forward to some crisis in which she suddenly calls the shounen by his name. I really appreciated how determined our hero was (even if I wish he had just let her carry the skull away); their ages differ, but he's not a pushover.
And, of course, Itou Shizuka's performance was to die for. So to speak. Her voice, her subtle manipulation of it, and the attitude/spirit she portrayed were all outstanding. |
That was a solid start. I didn't know what to expect from the first few minutes (bones fetish lol) but when Sakurako-san's profession was revealed it all made sense to me. The crime aspect definitely gives this an intruiging touch. I also like the OP song quite a lot and look forward to the respective animation for it next week.
Btw. the dynamic between the main duo reminds me of Kojou and Victorique from Gosick. |
