You forgot about Kuro, NeoSam. By now, there are 6 volumes of it. In addition, there's also that 4-koma, Nantonaku Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu.

I've read some summaries on wikipedia and this seems to be a solid and interesting story, if it ever gets licensed I'm getting the books. :)

Now... if only someone is willing to spoil me with more juicy details of the story. :P

He awakened it after he got "killed" and his AS got stolen. The Solver of all Equations is the Lonely One's power, if I recall correctly.


It is also at this point that we learn of that woman within Ryner - which is later revealed by Lura to be Ryner's mother.

Can someone tell me history about Demon, Hero & Goddess and their relations ? :D

Well, by now, you probably know all of the girls, but the Azure Princess.

The girls are:
- Ferris
- Milk
- Kiefer
- Azure Princess

In terms of strength, Nº1 should be Milk when she goes goddess mode. The second place would either be for Ferris or for the Azure Princess (who is seriously badass, but a bitch as well - an awesome bitch, mind you). Kiefer isn't particularly strong, but her forte is gathering information.

Technically speaking, Milk has her own harem (i.e. the guys you've seen her with, in the anime). Kiefer also has 2 guys who like her, and these guys are Refal and Toale.

Those who got your stuff from wiki, don't take it as 100% accurate. There are parts that can be misleading especially when passive forms are used.

There are also a few points shared here that I don't actually think are completely accurate. But I have to keep my peace till I re-read the novels to be sure.

I didn't want to publicize this till the anime is close to finishing, but I'm translating the sequel at B-T. It's a slow and thankless job. I can translate about 4-5 pages an hour (including thinking and typing time) and I think I'm decently fast, but still it will take time since I'm the only translator and I'm doing it in my spare time and not 24/7.

If anyone feels up to the task, can translate without using a software translator, have a good level of grammar proficiency (you need not to be at JLPT1 or 2 level, but at least know how to identify and look up fixed expressions in a dictionary), and is responsible (don't MIA without telling), just PM me at B-T. I know most Westerners have problems with Kanji, but I believe it's not an issue since most have furigana. Speed does not matter. Before you PM me, please try to translate at least 3 pages from the novel as an exercise. That way, you will know whether you are able to do it and whether you really want to do it. If you think you don't exactly fit the above, and still want to do it, do let me know anyway. But software translators are a no-no. :D


On a side note, I won't be contributing to spoilers much since I'm already working on the novels and it's like doing the same thing twice in a half-assed manner. :D

1.why voice wanted/asked ryner to become king?from wich country does he come from and what are his true (ulterior?)motive?is he really loyal to ryner or does he follow his or someone else hidden agenda(in order to use ryner and betray him?)?
and what about lucille(poor siscon seing his beloved sister he saved(twice?) with his other half):did he lie to shion or is he sincere?

2.is there some kind of good god or are they all evil?is this some kind of story where god/hero are evil while the demonlord(sad lonely demon??)is the one true good(you know like in shina dark and countless other A.,M.and L.N. story)?

3.has milk joined ryner(since you still count her in his harem) or is she still at shion side?what now is doing ryner's dad sinse his son remember him?


and i disagree about ryner being badass:if he need to kill someone he love each time he need to use his newfound power(why are his eyes called rulefragme-since they come from theD.L.-,and what are rulefragme to begin with?)...i know there must be some kind of limitation but who will he sacrifice next time,kiefer?

From what I understand, a sacrifice is needed only if he activates the SoAE's full power, and only his loved ones can be used as a sacrifice, so I wonder if Kiefer meet that condition. If anything, I think his father or Ferris is more likely to be the candidate, but I have a hard time imagining that he'll use that power the second time.

Hey Larethian thank you for translating the novels, unfortunately I cant speak Japanese so I don't think I can help. The only other Light Novel I read is Regios but that is getting kind of weird and personally I like Densetsu better.

@Azziz I think Ryner is pretty badass without the SOAE power. As Larethian said he doesn't need that he can perfectly fight without them and win, the reason he doesn't is because he doesn't want to hurt people around him.

Hum ... So ... One question : The second "part" of the novel is with the same heroes ? (The "Great" heroes)
So what is the différence between the others parts ? Like Anyways and Black Fallen ?

Same characters between the two parts. First is a sort of necessary introduction for the second one.

Like Anyways short stories collections.

Black Fallen side-story happening before the first main series unless i'm mistaken.

The author originally was planning to work the "sequel" (Great Heroes), but he realized the stuff he wanted to introduce into the story was too deep and difficult to understand without a proper introduction. So he worked on the LOLH as a story to set the stage, the background stories, and introduce various concepts of his world. LOLGH picks up immediately from where it left off in the last volume of LOLH. Throughout the prequel, he also wrote the "Anyway" series as side stories which take place in between the timeline in LOLH. Some of the characters in "Anyway", like Voice and Pia, later became part of the main story in LOLGH. Is the anime covering the novels at a decent pace or is all over the place?

yes, about anime ...

the pace is kinda fucked up.though i don't blame them. I mean if they did try to put everything in it would be very slow. Durarara is a very good example of sticking as close to the source material as possible and being a good show to boot, and it took them 24episode to cover 4 volumes. in Denyudden as of ep 13 we are at vol5/6 makes sense for a 24ep anime covering 11vol.

I was just browsing the LN...and I find it that Tiia will join Ryner's group?....are they travelling together without ferris?....is that going to cover too?

so wat does this mean?....does ino duwee user go berserk or he just like killing people.....that all!
