Anime-Otaku(A.K.A Ani-O)'s Art thread

So I decided to start a new thread for my drawings that aren't quite quick sketches.

She's just a random girl I got going, doesnt have a name, done in opencanvas with black ink and in about 55 minutes. 100% digital. You can see that I got some influence from MAY ( Guilty Gear)

Enjoy! :D

*Edit* I did some coloring, 50% there!!

I think that's due to the perspective. The weapon is inbetween her body and the cape. If that wasn't supposed to be a cape, then yeah, you are right.

anime-otaku 2004-12-22 16:13

Hehe thanks guys for the compliments. Yeah the weapon is behind her, and thats her cape. I supposed it will be come more clear once I am finished coloring it. But Meanwhile here's another one.

Took me 75 minutes with opencanvas black ink, 100% digital. Just in time for the holidays. :D

Enjoy!

*EDIT* Well I did some coloring, I am getting there! About 60% done!

*EDIT2* DONE she's 100% ready! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE :D

It's been a long time since I last saw your drawings, but all I can say is that you're getting better :) The perspective in the second one, I like it! :D (as well as her look ^^ )

anime-otaku 2004-12-23 16:30

Haha Thanks for the comments guys. I aim to please :)

Keit>> I use a UC-Logic superpen. And I use Open canvas

Look foward to more drawings from me.

Hey Ani-O, wazzah!~ :)

Looks like you've been busy this holiday. Drawing and colouring up a storm. Those pics are really good for just using a computer. I gotta agree with sonjool though. The first one does remind me of Temari, it's just the hair coupled with that smile. It looks like this one shot out of the manga. Other than that, looks great! I love it when people draw oversized weapons of doom. Makes 'em looker cooler in my book. :heh:

I like the 2nd one the best so far. It's looks really nice colored. The perspective isn't 100% right near the feet area but I know it's hard to draw that particular angle so it isn't really a big deal. Trying new angles is obviously the best way to learn. Mine ended up looking crappy when I tried something like that so props to you, man. :)

Anyways, keep 'em coming! And merry Christmas. :D

Man, that's a cool concept for a picture, wish I thought of that.

In fact, I maybe borrowing the idea, Ani-O, hope you don't mind. I promise to make it good, and you'll be the first one to see it.

Wai~ she's cute ^^
I really like the colours... I don't know much about art, but it doesn't look like anything special was done, but... the colours just stand out really well.
The scarf is really cute too.

Err... SirC-SirC Check... or something ^^

The first one is nice too, but someone needs to finish her :)
