It could be a dream

Oekitarts 2009-06-28 09:55

Hey. It could be a good move anyways... since it's pretty common knowledge.
People should at least know that Beatrice is the enigmatic figure in the portrait...
..an "Oyashiro-sama" if you will.

chronotrig 2009-06-28 10:37

Come on, seriously...will it really hurt so much to just make the exact same posts in the spoiler thread?

Here's the most simple and best rule about spoilers: people who have read the game do not get to decide what a 'real spoiler' is...only the people getting spoiled have that right.

Which means don't post anything that is even remotely spoilerish in the non-spoiler threads.
Which means don't even try to hint about spoilers whether they be fake spoilers or real ones.

If there's any gray area at all, just use the spoiler thread. It isn't that hard, people.

It's 13 volumes, 8,190yen each.

How much is 8,190 yen...?

No not per episode... they would be crazy to release 13 Bluray's with one episode each at normal Blu-ray prices.. It's more than likely 2 episodes per disc for 26 episodes and even that is pretty low...
Deen could always suprise us and make it more than two episodes per disc...:heh:

Roughly 80 American dollars.

100 yen = 1 dollar
1000 yen = 10 dollars
8000 yen = 80 dolars

Ttak 2009-06-28 22:16

USD $1 ~ 95 yen, so it's around $86,00
Btw, how much data a Bluray disc can store (because 2 episodes for disc seem too little) ?

Skullchukka 2009-06-29 06:42

So.. I've got a question about the airing time;
It is currently 14:38 (2:38 PM) here in Turkey (GMT +2)
20:38 (8:38 PM) in Japan. (GMT +9)
07:38 (07:38 AM) in America. (GMT - 4)

Considering one of the English Fansubbing groups for Umineko is living at America, when Umineko airs (at which hour was it again?) what time would it be in America and Turkey?

I remember seeing something like 25:30 AM or something, and I'm horribly bad at mathematics, could someone help me out here? ^^

As you can see, I'm way over excited about the anime..

Hm, the anime site has been updated... I don't understand Japanese, so I have no idea about the updates, but I don't think we've seen this screencaps from the first episode before:

sento 2009-06-29 08:45

第1話 Episode I-I opening
第2話 Episode I-II first move
第3話 Episode I-III dubious move
第4話 Episode I-IV blunder
第5話 Episode I-V fool's mate

Scython 2009-06-29 09:21

So, in other words, 第1話 Episode I-I Random Comedy + Introduction

They are all chess terminologies

Hm, I always imagined the portrait to be larger than that. It seems tiny.

patnam 2009-06-29 10:24

so then the Episode 1 will consist of 5 episodes...?

Jan-Poo 2009-06-29 10:25

Probably. It's not set in stone but Imho yes.

Christen 2009-06-29 10:34

If this is the case, I think we should refer to the anime episodes like this to prevent confusion.

Episode I-I, I-II, etc. Roman numerals help.

I actually thought that was Eva until I realized it's Beato :heh:

Akuryou 2009-06-29 10:44

...and what would that screencap be? Or rather, where from?

Ttak 2009-06-29 10:48

I believe it's from the anime's website and it shows the name of the first game or episode (?)
