Psycho-Pass - Speculation & Theories based on Previews, Summaries, etc.

Well after watching episode 4 and getting a glimpse of the antagonists of this show I theorize that they have found a way to undermine and fool the Sibyl System. Also they maybe trying to overthrow the current system altogether and in their own crazy and psychotic way fancy themselves some sort of heroes trying to free the people or something.

I'm thinking the same, mostly because Shougo is seen reading 1984. It could also explains why they're taking over influential avatar on the net. This is a good way to slowly rally people to their cause.
My other long-standing speculation is that Akane's CC will rise so high she will be forced to become an enforcer by the end of the anime (that will be after everyone else has been killed for maximum despair, of course). |
I wonder if Akane will be the Madoka or Sayaka of the world.
Now note I know I am simplifying Akane. In personality I already don't think she is either. But as the driving force of the story. The key to me is Seki's character. Akane clearly already has an interest in him. Can she save him or will he pull her under. |
I hope we see the past of Yayoi in a future episode, and in the next few episodes I saw in a website that the next crime will be under a new theme

I can't wait to see the true evidence behind on why Akane's hue never changes even during the dangerous situations. If she gets obssessed too much in thinking of Shinya, I'm sure her CC will rises up to a certain point. I really can't wait to see on Kagari, Yayoi and Shion's pasts and the awaited speculation on whether Masaoka is Ginoza's father or not may be true.

As I said on another thread, I somewhat think all the emphasis on "keeping calm and carrying on" and trying to keep your stress levels at a minimum no matter what, is actually damaging peoples' readings by stressing them out and driving up their criminality coefficients, like nailing down the steam valve on a boiler instead of dumping steam.
So Sybil is creating monsters in the long-run instead of preventing them. Spoiler for madoka magica spoiler:

I board not seen the episode but from what you say Akane's friend did not die in episode 10 as saying the spoiles?? Is that the "tragedy" called in spoiles of 11 would be the death of a friend of Akane???

From my experience of watching animes, I can foresee Ginoza being a total tsun guy later in the anime. Hostility to Kougami for now, but a vital character who will be one of his trusted partner. I don't think it will be long before Gino actually questions the validity of the Sibyl system. This should happen at some point in the anime, cause it will be good for his character development. Not sure if it's just me, but I see a lot of Tieria Erde in him. I will totally laugh my ass off if this dude manages to upload his consciousness into the Sibyl system itself.
