I am just saying it was to random. The reference to Rubis foster parents in episode 16 was way more natural. Here it was just a random: we need to show a gay character which you won't see anymore. Also, her VA did a pretty sloppy job.

I just started watching the second part for my weekly episode-by-episode reviews. The first episode is a pretty solid start after the end of the first half. I am concerned about Barnaby's leg though.

Though, the series became even more "netflixy" with random LGBTQ+ bits. Not that I care but everything should be in moderation (while Ruby being adopted by gay couple was presented naturaly, random NEXT lesbian in ep. 15 was to much in your face).

Official interviews with the creators refer to both Pao-Lin and Nathan as androgynous/gender fluid/otherwise not cishet, and this was in the second volume of the Hero TV Fan Book back in 2011. The show has always been extremely LGBTQ+ and it being produced with Netflix this time has no part in that.
Also…that one NEXT being a lesbian was just…there. Nothing would have changed if she was straight…which is how casual representation should be dojez

People seem to don't get my point here. I am just saying this one bit in ep. 15 was a bit to roughly done. And that they ramped up the staff comparing even to the first half of the season for some reason. I am not saying it is bad, just a bit odd. The amount of it was just fine before.

Just finished it. The second half was done so much better and everything flowed a lot smoother. There will never be a superhero show this cool. Farewell Tiger & Bunny.

We get your point. We’re simply pointing out that it seems to be a minority opinion as opposed to a hard fact.

So, despite my minor complaints I actually think that this part was the best. Ironically, it was a good idea to make it more akin to western superhero movie. The first season suffered a lot from not knowing if it wants to be a parodym a buddy show or a serious superhero drama (which a lot of this sort of anime suffer from). aNd it wa still noticeble during the first half of S2 (which also suffered from being to episodic with the need to introduce/re-introduce all of the heroes).

And with all of the "Ouroboros" plot being unresolved they can always make more. But I actually want Kaede to be a new MC. You can leave our MCs as mentor figurees (no need to pair her with Barnaby) and there are a bunch of opportunities how to play it (especially considering that her power is versitale but has a lot of limitations).

Gotta say, I'm glad that this series closed several subplots from season 1 but I'm not sure if this is meant to be the defnitive ending despite Kotetsu's power going down. He had to prove Yuri he won't take his father's road once his powers are gone. However, Yuri's suicide was way too dark for the series' standards. If I had to choose a weak part of the anime was that there are way too many characters. Still loved it though
