Hi, so me and my friend decided to try our hand at translating and due to some circumstances we started with this one.

Summary:
Not wanting to remain a NEET, 30 years old Arata decided to join a private military and security company. While having fun during the training and getting good scores, soon he has to face a real war.

Well, originally I didn't really plan to post here, but since we really could use some feedback and the number of visitors isn't exactly high at the moment, so bear with me for the time being.

Will this be a joint LN + Manga thread? I don't read the LN(and preferably don't like it being combined due to people casually talking about events not yet covered in the opposing media but I digress), and wondered if making a new topic would be a bit much for a series not commented on too much =01....

A question, who is the person on the LN covers except for MC?

She will appear in manga quite soon, if you can't wait give a look at manga raw.

Skipped through the RAWs a few months ago (Can't read japanese, only look at pictures... still interesting story^^), but there is something that still bothers me:

Remember that woman with the elf ears? Do we ever get an explanation why she even had them? At first I thought this series had a modern background with fantasy races mixed in, but it turns out the elf-ear-woman was the only one who was remotely fantasy-ish.

It seems that she had surgery, because she liked elves.

The LN artworks got me curious & the translated chapters got me interested. Guess I'll check out the manga too...

So is this an direct to LN original & doesn't have a early syosetu version? Oh, seems it's also finished with only 5 volumes.

Well, there is only so much an author can do with a japanese salaryman that commands a mercenary unit.

Just find out all volume 1 of LN is translated.

Chapter 6 of the manga is out.
By this point Arata has accepted what he's being doing and moves to another base with an American girl with elf ears.

I got the two volumes of the manga and I read the first one. Premise is interesting.

I'll go and check this out since parts of volume 2 are translated.

Update to say the LN is finished with 5 volumes. Manga is still ongoing.

I just started reading the LN and I like it. I just have a random question, is the LN really in the first person "present tense" form? Also, not being too nitpicky but the overuse of commas make it a bit hard to read. That said I highly appreciate your hard work and wish you guys all the best!

Dang it. Saw that volume 2's done.

I may have to read everything again. Especially since IIRC this has six volumes.
