In the end..Stein left with Medusa, well at least thats how they made it look like, and Mary commited suicide in his insanity O.O that made me go wtf all the way! also kid stein ish kawaii >w<

On a side note, maybe my translation skills are still really rusty but when Joe and Shinigami-sama were talking, i think i heard Joe say something about giving the brew to Kid.. which could possibly be leading to epic free & mosquito fight maybe? Dunno how that'd work though, especially if he isnt going to Baba Yaga castle.

Wolf-Spirit was bizarre, but it was interesting how he was cast as the guard for the gate leading to Medusa. Marie's "suicide" was strange; when Stein saw her shoe fall, I half expected him to look up and see she'd hung herself.

I'm mostly wondering what Stein's inner child was saying to him, as it seemed like he was the one who truly convinced Stein to enter the door. (And how did he even find Medusa's hideout, anyway?)

Considering that Medusa said she was going out to pick up her lover, it seems likely that she found him rather than him going all the way to her hideout. Well, maybe. My limited understanding of Japanese makes watching these episodes that aren't based on the manga a bit less straightforward than it used to be. :heh:

yeah i watched the episode in spanish since i really wanted to see it and didn't wanted to wait for the english sub, but she said boyfriend so in other words lover -_- the door seems to have led to where he felt more free with the insanity and sadly, it was with Medusa, all that brainwash did pretty good after all D=

I'm personally enjoying the route they are taking with the mostly Bones-only storyline, and this was a great episode to show just how weird they can get with it. Am I the only one that was thinking SILENT HILL? As for the 'dream world', I want to think Medusa had a huge hand in the images he saw there as well-- including that younger version of himself, because it looked a lot like her. Wouldn't surprise me if she had two hallucinations fighting one another for the sake of coaxing him to her side. My Japanese is limited, but I heard the kid mention 'the world changing' quite a bit in his speeches, which seems to be Medusa's spiel. I can't wait though. I've had my fingers crossed in hopes they would end up playing up Stein's insanity (Which they have beeen, wonderfully.) and possibly even make him become an antagonist for a little while, and it looks like that may be the case.
Also, more love for Marie, Crona, Asura and even Spirit. And even Maka's mother! All these dropped hints make me wonder if we'll actually get to see her at some point before the anime comes to a close. Here's to hoping the other three teams get some love and attention as well. They're at least in the ED if that's a good indication.
