Since this forum keeps getting more and more posts by groups looking for members and vice-versa, this thread is for compiling them into one list. Any new Help Wanted posts for unlicensed anime fansubbers can go here.

In addition to the Help Wanted posts, this thread is also intended for when groups or fansubbers wish to offer their help or skills.

To add a listing, reply to this thread with whatever information is relevant, usually:

There used to be a compiled list of all the current postings here, but it became too unwieldy with so many groups posting...just check the end of the thread for the newest ones.

There's a limit of three listings to prevent abuse and save space.

To remove a listing, reply to this thread with which ad(s) you're requesting removal for.

Ads expire about 1 1/2 to two months after they're posted (It's in transition now, which is why so many things expire on June 7th). If you'd like to renew yours, again, post a reply saying which ones need renewing.

Since there's a limit on how long this post can be, I'm reducing the contact information displayed. For complete information, click on the associated link.

First off, I'd just like to say thank you for creating such a brilliant thread! I'm hoping it'll help me kick start my new fansub group. Anyway, on to the details.

Position(s):
-Japanese to English translator(s) (the ability to read and write in Japanese is essential; for translating signs/kanji for karaoke etc).
-An encoder with a decent amount of experience. XviD will be the overall preferred type of format we want our encodes in.
-A decent editor.
-A raw provider who can access raws fast and efficiently. I would do this myself, but I'm lazy :P

New fansub group recruits
 

Hi,

We recently began a fansub team whom purpose is to share its scripts with everybody.
We hope we may help everyone from different places to discover wath a great anime is Naruto in supporting differents languages.
For now we support French http://users.skynet.be/EAF/miniban2.jpg.

We are mostly looking for people interested in translating Naruto in English.

id love to be in a fansub group, but i dont know what i could be good for other than Editing, so if you need an Editor i LOVE Naruto and would enjoy doing it

We need translators, but a personne responsible for the english part of the website could come in handy (talented webmasters are welcome) ^^

As for the editing we don't edit the video when it can be avoided* (we keep the video as its orgiginal state).

*We did it once for now, in 51st episode when the tournament pool is shown.

well i meant edit the english part of the script for grammar spelling what not, cause i notice mistakes all the time and i HATE bad grammar (and i know my punctation and everything isnt formal on this forum, because well, its an internet forum)

Hi, I'm an editor/reviser, QCer, or anything else in my range for either anime or manga.

I did quality check for one anime... can't really mention what it was though, so forget about that one. :P

I once helped the manga group Storm in Heaven by beta reading, or translation editing, both "Damned Sun," and "Nana." I'm probably best at revising rough translations into proper/more commonly used english.

I am interested in practically every genre, so it probably wouldn't matter what kind of anime/manga it is. My only limit is hentai and Naruto. Hentai, I might do, but probably not, and there are enough groups doing Naruto.
