First of all i wanna say how uber cool the first DVD's gonna be, well the limited edition anyway.

With that many extras, i just gotta order.

Anyone know if any Haruhi T-shirts are on sale anywhere yet? (Is it even too early for selling such merchandise?)

While it's still a month before AnimeNorth, can't hurt planning in advance for spreading Haruhi-ism. XD

Hmm, I guess I'll put my request here since it seems most appropriate. Does anyone know of a site or importer that can import chinese versions (preferrably an HK or Taiwan release) of the novels to NA?

I am looking for that myself. The issue with what I've seen w. the online bookstores in Taiwan so far is that the registration requires you to enter your ID and guess what, no Taiwanese ID means enter your passport ID ... not good at all.

I heard from my friend that a Suzumiya Haruhi bath towel just got released in Japan. Hopefully he can get hold of one for me, so I can take a picture of it to post here.

Yesasia has free shipping if you order over $39. Also, if you're in the UK, they pay the VAT for you (not that there is any VAT on books, mind you, but it's a useful thing to bear in mind for other merchandise).

Well, the free shipping thing is global, I think, it's just that they go the extra mile for people in the UK since customs here are such a bitch.

lol fair enough, even if yesasia doesn't pay the GST, it should still be ok. It could be much worse, like shipping that equals to the amount purchased...

How many of you are planning on getting the OP/ED?
Apparently there are fans who want to get the ED to #1 on the Oricon charts. I'm actually considering getting them now and it'll be my first real purchase online :heh:
