Well, the animation studio is Nomad as it is mentioned in the opening post by NeoSam. Plus, ANN is listing the genre as Romance, so I'm very interested even without knowing the plot. :)

Hm... this one looks very good. I'll be sure to check it out. =)

And here's the official site for the anime:

http://www.sola-project.com/

But its not working yet.

Does the title "Sola" means anything in japanese?

It's written just as: Ella esta sola --> She is alone

No, it's not written like that anywhere. (hence my question). I just mentioned that because the word exist in spanish. Sorry for any confusion.

Ahh, I see LOL, my mistake >.<

NeoSam 2007-02-08 14:03

The site is now working :) but currently there's only an image there >.<

The bishoujo character designs look more cuter in the image I posted in the first post :uhoh:

Amazingly the prologue audio drama has been fansubbed! So few of these audio dramas are fansubbed that I always find it amazing. Kudos to Doremi for this.

In case anyone is curious, AnimeSuki does list audio dramas, so you can find it here. I suspect that most people don't realize that we'd list audio dramas only because they are almost never fansubbed. This is just the third audio drama to get on our site.

Maceart 2007-02-17 04:16

Yah, the pull of Mamiko Noto (mois from Keroro Gunsou) along with the anime being a collaboration between the writer of Kanon and Da Capo plus the awesome character designs compelled us to do this. Of course, we'll try to do this anime in April, provided we finish some of our other projects first.

Enjoy the spiffy "character flashing when talking typesets".

NoSanninWa 2007-02-17 04:27

That's a good reason. Mamiko Noto deserves much love.

WanderingKnight 2007-02-17 08:19

Oh, Mamiko Noto. Some times I love her (like when she did Ana Coppola in Ichigo Mashimaro) and some times I hate her (like when she did Yukino in Mai Hime/Otome), so I don't know what to expect of her. I'm downloading the audio drama to check it out anyways.

EDIT: I just listened to the audio drama CD, and many characters seem to be extremely strange, specially Nakahara Mai's character, who sounds very, very shady. Looks like this will be a lots-of-stories-get-intertwined kind of anime, and I love that kind of storyline, so I'll have to check it out when it comes out.

Sigh... April's been turning into the Month of the Perdition. There are so many series coming out I want to check out...

Asrialys 2007-02-17 08:59

Hm...the AnimeNewsNetwork link on the AnimeSuki page links to AnimeDB instead.

Anyway, I hope this turns out well. Only 12 episodes. I like the character designs. So many of the recent romance dramas have been a bit...meh.

Maceart 2007-03-01 13:32

The website's been updated, and the character designs look amazing. Story I still can't make a sense out of though.

WanderingKnight 2007-03-01 13:50

Oh my God, cheers to Nakahara Mai's character's design, Morimiya Aono! One of the most gorgeous I've seen lately.

Reason alone to check out this series? I believe so. :3

But yeah, i'm mostly in this one for the character designs. Shall see how it goes.
