To be honest, Fate has never met another reality or lifestyle so you can't really blame him for being pathetic. Also yeah Brenix family are a bunch of assholes, at least Roxis stand on the side of justice.

I loved Roxis very much. She is the best girl!.

Unfortunately chapters of the light novel are very short :'(

Yeah that's quite sad, at least the good news is that we're getting 2 chapters per week.

I read ahead a little in the web novel raws but it seems to be quite fast-paced. The MC is growing unbelievably fast that it doesn't really feel real.

Not quite, when you have an MC that's growing too fast it can become incredibly boring and predictable, just like the Kirito syndrome. If the author here manages to avoid that problem then Fate would not suffer from it but we'll see. We have to be cautious with this.
